View Profile I'm not saying that the father has the final word. I'm saying that they both have equal rights in the matter. Saying that the man has no rights whatsoever is just as sexist as saying that it's entirely the mans choice.
And how the hell am I racist? Americans aren't a race, they're a species.
Because that's negative and he's Zed-bashing.
And I find it awesome how the word sexist means the same as "anti-femenist" these days :')

Equal rights? The woman has to carry the thing around for 9 months. The woman has to go through the actual birth. You can't force her to do those things just because the man wants the baby. If the woman wants to abort, but the man does not, it doesn't matter. Woman wins every time, she is getting the abortion.

This is the same argument that is being brought up time and time again. I have still seen no evidence that those nine months are less pleasent for the woman than the rest of the life of a man who feels that his child has been murdered.

Ow god... again.
THE MOTHER HAS THE SAME AND SHE HAS TO GO THROUGH THE OPERATION. THAT ARGUMENT IN INVALID...

But the mother doesn't have the same. If she felt strongly that abortion was murder then she wouldn't do it.
The only exception is when there is a medical or significant social reason for the abortion and in those cases, as I have already said, screw the father.

Listen to me.
You CAN NOT force a woman to go through pregnancy and then child birth. Period.

WRONG. That's the thing about abortion, it's a choice between "killing" the child or birthing a child.
It's very hard on women. Do you really think they like to choose something like that?

Well, I guess that's too fu
cking bad then. If the father tries to MAKE the mother to go through all the pain just because HE thinks it's murder, well then go suck a hard one. The woman has to give birth to the child, she carries it around for 9 months, OF COURSE SHE HAS A CLOSER EMOTIONAL CONNECTION TO THE CHILD JUST BECAUSE OF THAT. And of course she shoule bear the right to remove or keep the child as she wants to.
Not to mention, that in most cases, she won't just do what she wants to, she'll talk to the father. So just because the father may not get his will, he could go and say "No dude, she'll have that fucking baby."?
The baby is INSIDE the woman, OF COURSE it has to be her choice to keep it or not and tell the father to go fu
ck himself if she has to. If you had a watermelon in your ass, would you say your parents should be able to decide wether you get it out because they shoved it in there? Fuck, no.

Actually the baby will have no emotional attachment to the mother whatsoever and if the mother feels attached then in this instance she shouldn't want an abortion in the first place. Not including times when there is a medical or social need to abort the mother is NOT attached to the baby. And of course she shoule bear the right to remove or keep the child as she wants to.

If the parents were going to suffer a huge emotional trauma by the removal of said watermelon then they should be sectioned.

No, I don't think they like it. I'm saying that in this instance birthing the child is almost certainly a better option. I can't see why a mother would choose to "kill" the child when birthing is an equally good option, as I believe it is in this instance.

You have no ****ing idea and you don't even bother to show any insight. The woman will almost always feel an emotional relation to the baby, no matter what the circumstances are. Medical or social problems will not change the fact that it's LIFE growing inside of her, not to her and not to anyone and that's where the relation is coming from.

I KNOW THEY WON'T!!! THAT'S MY ENTIRE POINT!!! The medical/social problems people will be attached but will have no choice except to have an abortion. THAT IS FINE!!! When a woman wants an abortion because the pregnancy interferes with her skiing holiday (genuine case) is when I start to doubt the level of attachment that's there.
