Yellow was the game I played for the majority of ages 7-10. Crystal was pretty good and I made it pretty far until a bully at me school took it, and ruby I play when there is just nothing to do. I never bought a ds, sp is good for me :D

Yellow. The only one I recall allowing you to get all started Pokémon without trading. It's the closest thing to logic in a game where you throw beanie-babies around in colourful balls to battle to (almost) death.
