Last night, I was over at my friend's house with a couple of people, and just for the fun of it, we decided to do a Ouija(Wee-jee) Board. For those of you who don't know, a Ouija Board is a little board you use with letters and numbers on it to communicate with the spirits.
We didn't have an actual Ouija Board, so we made one based off a real picture of one. Then we used an upside down glass for planchette(the piece of it that the spirits move.)
So we get everything set up, get in a circle, choose our speaker, and the 3 people who would put their fingers on the glass. Then we started, and asked if anyone was there. First nothing happened, then it started to ****ing move.
Those guys had there fingers lightly touching the cup on the rim, so they weren't moving it.
Anyway, we asked some questions, but it spelled some stuff wrong because we were asking complicated questions. So my friend Jacob asked what his name was on his birth certificate, and it spelled out JAKE. And he jumped back, since that was it. Then, he asked it who he liked(no one knew this, and he didn't have his fingers on the cup), and it spelled out ASHLEY. And he just stood up and started pacing back and forth. It was scary as hell.
We were up at around 2:55 AM now. We started asking questions about the spirit itself. Apparently this was a woman with the name J.E. Siah. She was murdered at the age of 90. We asked what year, and it put up 81, which I'm pretty sure is 1981.
Then, my friends got stupid, and asked if it could make a physical movement. And then asked if it could flicker the lights. It said yes. But nothing happened. It was 2:59 AM after we asked this question, so we asked what time it would do it. And it said 3:01. We were scared shitless, because before that, we read on the ouija board website, not to use it at 3 AM, because that's apparently when the portal to hell opens. So we moved the cup to goodbye, folded it up, locked it in the closet, and left the room with the lights off.
Scary night. I had trouble sleeping.

Guarenteed, if you blindfolded everyone, then flipped the board without them knowing, it would MAGICLY float to were Yes and No used to be.

And yeah, they are as scary as hell. My friends that are always joking around and shit, get all serious when it comes to this, no jokes. No on wants to piss off the spirits.

Ideomotor Effect idiots. Recorded medical studies of shit like this always come up with people simply moving the board without knowing it. This is also used by fortune tellers and other bullshit spiritual con artists. If spirits could actually communicate with people then they wouldn't be doing it through a scam product that is mostly used by 11 year old girls asking if their crush likes them or not.
You see there's this and then there's religion. Religion is alright because it relies on faith and isn't claiming it has proof there are spirits. However, spiritual bullshit like this says they have "proof" which has been investigated and has been proven to be, of course, complete bullshit. It's annoying to see trend after trend of supernatural claims to fame becoming popular until someone outright disproves it. But someone has ALREADY DISPROVED Ouija boards:

But damn, I reccommend (spelling?) all of you guys not to mess around with things like that UNLESS you're doing this together with a pro. My grandma once told me that a little girl called a spirit out and now she can't make it leave, and it always does scary shit at night (throws around dishes, etc.).

My best friend and I ouija regularly. I don't know why everyone's making such a big deal about it... When we ouija, we just mess around with them, and it's fun. I have a board, and so does she. They're fun to talk to. Although mine is somewhat of a jerk sometimes... But really, I don't find it scary at all :/

One time a couple of my friends and I were ouijaing with one of their boards (different friend) and we were playing a game with it. They put their hands on it, and I thought of a word, and it would guess it. I didn't say it out loud, so neither of my friends knew what it was. It guessed it right :/

We like asking them questions like: What color is my aura? Which of the seven deadliest sins is my worst? (mine is sloth >.>) What is my greatest fear?

Stuff like that. I don't know why it's so scary...
