Oh, I have misunderstood you. I thought you mean the character of John Connor, not Bale's acting. My bad.

It was both, really
The movie made him seem like a guy that only cared about his own ambition
Bale gave him the aesthetic to do so

I think the Arnie thing was CGI, he looks too shiny in the movie.
Might I say that he's doing a fine job as Governor of California.

This movie was one of the best I've seen in a long time. But I was really disappointed in them not using Brad Fiedel for the music. In my opinion that was the only thing that killed the movie. I guess it kind of made sense though, being in a future destroyed by machines, it's totally reasonable to use the metallic sounds.

Am I the only person that didn't have a problem with Bale's acting of the John Connor character? Maybe its because Sam Worthington made me forget about it, because Sam's acting was impressive compared to his earlier work.

It was a great movie. My dad somewhat got a heart attack.

I dont really want to see it. Honestly, I think they should stop making Terminators, there are too many of them.

Yeah, because 4 is OMG SO MANY

Quote from Realso... the projector bulb blew and we didn't get to view the last 20 minutes of the movie (roughly)
anyone care to PM it to me? i asked numerous times in the chat thread but i guess you guys don't look in there, which is no biggie
i know what a google search says and wikipedia... both are not enough
Hey, so, now that there are some more people in here posting, anyone care to help me out with this? Thanks.

You are funny. I like your use of "we" when nobody around here would ever want to be associated with you. Troll attempt: failure.

No...you misunderstood.
By "We", I meant my devious organization created specifically to cut off all incoming messages to your inbox that would have revealed the rest of the movie that you missed, we intercepted every message before it got to you and discarded it, nowhere on the internet can it be found.
Troll finder: failure

Stop trying to be funny, Garuda.

Just saw this today, and honestly, the ending was the only part I disliked.
Christian Bale seemed like every other character I've seen him play (not very many).
That woman with cancer reminded me of GLaDOS from Portal, in the Skynet scene.
I would have liked the subject of where the line between human and machine to be pondered upon more.
The "I'll be back" scene was a bit weak.
Arnold's CGI'd cameo was hilarious (no way he'd be in that good shape anymore, guys).
But the ending was just, ugh. Like Pinkus said, it was just a cheap way to be able to make a sequel. And it didn't make sense.
