They're one of my favorite bands even though I sometimes get bashed for it by metal elitists, but I really feel they lost it after Vile. The Wretched Spawn was a step up though, and the first four albums are classic.

That album just takes a bit more effort to get used to. People who like Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim and Bob Sinclar will probably enjoy it a lot more. I thought it was okay.

And I didn't really like the fact that he turned to Autotune in this. It made him sound too commercial. I think he should go back to rapping, even though I like him more as a producer than a lyricist. Even with autotune, I hate his singing voice.

Honestly, it was difficult for me to discern the actual lyrics and the stories being told in the songs on that album. It really was more of a beats and Autotune album for sure. I think he knows what he's doing (since he made the excuses about why 808s was so off) and he will get back to rapping and producing soon. He was featured in that Keri Hilson song "Knock You Down" recently and that was pretty decent.
