Well I seriously want TF2, and I have $25 to spend, on my computer theres probably a 60% chance of it working, without lagging the living **** out of my computer. Is it worth the risk of wasting $20?

Can't you get a guest pass or something?

At very least, try another source game. Isn't there an hl2 demo or something. They run on the same engine.

So basically, if the Half Life 2 demo works without too much lag, TF2 probably will?

Cant you just bring it back if it doesnt work?

Also compare it to other games your pc can run, see if they have higher system requirements.

I love my computer.
And for whatever reason it will only recognize 3 out of the 4 gigs of RAM I put in.

its a virtual copy, and i don't think you can get your money back by saying it doesn't work.

I would take the risk, and theres ways you can go about reducing your lag, people have made custom skins that you can put on that don't require as much to render as the normal ones, and they still look the same, you'd only really notice if you saw the changes side by side and were looking for it.

Hmm, why would that matter?
I'm not really sure.

I'm pretty sure it's 32bit.

32 bit OS's only recognise 3.something ram. Get 64 bit. I'm sure you can exchange your 32 bit for 64 bit somehow.

To lazy to look for a "coughcoughaquired* version of windows XP 64bit.

Oh well just a gig of ram. My computer runs incredibly fast enough for me as it is.

Yeah I felt that way when I used 32 bit. I can honestly say it recognising the 0.8GB didn't improve it much.
