Didn't he manipulate the American people talking about terrorists and patriotism? He led us into a war that we didn't need to go into.

We can now be arrested without warrant, without cause and without explanation. We can have all of our assets frozen without an explanation. we've lost a lot because of the "war on terror". Just because you haven't felt the ripple yet, doesn't mean its not going to knock you down one day.

has that ever happened? i haven't heard of average american citizens being arrested and incarcerated warrantlessly, to any degree more than in previous history. and i'm pretty sure about three fourths of americans are against the war.

Because he had the power to. He is commander in chief. We can't stop him from invading, unless we impeach him. He did not manipulate the American people into supporting the war. He tried to manipulate us, but we aren't retarded.

Um I don't think I could find any links or evidence even if I tried, and there is a reason for that. The patriot act lets the government do all of this without warrant, without explanation and without saying anything at all, no one would know if you house was broken into and bugged when you weren't there.

i think the saudi arabian government is planning to stop selling us oil just to laugh at us.

there's no evidence that this would ever occur, it would not be in their best interest... but it's conceivably possible, and just because it or anything like it has ever happened doesn't mean it won't! we should all be preparing for this and debating online about the effects this plausible event will have.

Haha. I am willing to be my house HAS NOT been bugged. The government doesn't have anywhere close to the manpower it needs to bug every home in America. Not that the PATRIOT act is good or anything, I think it's a load of crap don't get me wrong. But you are blowing it out of proportion.

Also, considering you didn't make a response to my previous post about the manipulation of Americans, I'm going to take that as you have come around and agreed with me that Americans are not easily manipulated.
