Especially take notice of the motion of the hips in the fixed foot placement example, the leg on the ground, the leg in the air, and the number of frames.

Also, while it's reasonably well executed, I don't think the heavy spacing is completely necessary.

I like the background. But you dont need backgrounds. At the moment you are learning how to animate and no onion skin backgrounds wont help you.

Perfect the movements before effects and backgrounds.
