It is my theory that the government wants you to get high for their own gain and is using reverse psychology to get you to do it.

Some people may be under the delusion that they are thinking more clearly when high, but that is just not true. Any idiot can come up with a crazy theory about the government, high or not, but it takes someone in a clear state of mind to actually do anything about it. The whole “war on drugs” thing is just a sham to get the rebellious types to do drugs and keep them from thinking clearly so they are no longer a threat. The government knows that if they make something illegal, people will only want it more, in an attempt to rebel against the establishment. In reality, these people are merely pawns in the government’s plan for total control. If everyone who is against fascist government policies is always stoned, there is no one left to stop the government from taking away our freedoms. Even if they take action while they aren’t high, no one is going to take a pothead seriously. The government can continue to oppress the people as we move closer to complete fascist control.

You see, if they just made marijuana legal, no one would want to try it, or at least the ones who did would be the law-abiding, government-trusting, bumper-sticker-patriot types who already have no clue as to what is really going on. but in case your not, first of all just because you smoke pot doesn't mean you are high all the time. most people who smoke pot (note i said people not teens) aren't high all the time but rather on weekends or in their time of leisure. it takes a lot of pot use to start becoming to the point where you are that forgetful enough to where you are stupider, you can ask dr. grinspoon associate professor emeritus of psychiatry at harvard medical if he is any dumber after more than 40 years of recreational use. i use him just because he's famous but there are countless others who aren't the typical pothead users you know, you just don't know because you can't tell most real people who smoke pot because they are everyday people.

I, myself, support the legalization of this plant. Why is the act of consuming cannabis in any way so taboo in our society? Many famous intellectuals support(ed) the legalization of marijuana. Al Gore, the German philosopher Freidrich Nietzche, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, our founding fathers. Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, John Adams, John F. Revenue from illegal domestic marijuana is speculated at around 60 billion annually. That's a total of 95.8 billion per year, excluding imports. Cannabis is the number 1 cash crop in 12 different states, and in 30 other states, Cannabis is among the top three cash crops. Thomas Jefferson once said, “Hemp is of first necessity to the wealth and protection of the country”.
