The story sucks, but once you start playing you truly do not give a fuck about the story. It's just too fun for you to care about anything other than beating the shit out of thousands of midgets.

i would rather a game focus on great gameplay rather then a great story.
a good story is nice, though, but not very essential.
i'll be playin this shit in 10 days. I know almost nothing about it other then theres 87 bazillion guns and theres a class that likes to punch and another that can go invisible for a few seconds or something.

Too bad you can only be one of 4 people and theres no awesome chracter customization.

I'm getting the 4pack with some friends and it comes out in 5 days, shit is going to be good.

Yeah, but in an RPG like this, you want to make your character look different. I heard there's some form of customization, no idea what it is, though.

I can't wait for the game. Getting it Friday, I was planning on going through it with a few mates, but one of them has just had a baby.

I thought this was "the baby of an RPG and FPS." If it turns out that this is basically Fallout 3 with co-op, I'm going to be pretty annoyed.

Because if I want Fallout 3, I'd play Fallout 3. The way they've gone on about this game makes it seem completely new, but if it does turn out to be something not-so-new then I won't be shouting "yay".
I just don't see the point in forking out £30-40 on a game that will feel like a game I've already played through 5 times in the past.

I heard it takes 17+ hours to complete, though. So I suppose that would make up for it.

Since I never liked Fallout that much to play it trough I think I'll be happy with the result.

Also Co-Op is so much fun.

Are all the guns going to actually be different and diverse? Or is it going to be like a mmorpg where once you've become really powerful, there will be only 1 or 2 weapons worth using, and about 75 percent of the weapons are just reskins with different effects on them.

I was thinking that Garuda, but I don't think there is much way of finding out until the game comes out.
