Alright let me break this down for all the Americans who got carried away screaming Yes We Can! and ignoring any semblance of rational thought as to why we elected Obama.

Obama was extremely clear about his foreign policy. He would pull troops out of Iraq and refocus on Afghanistan. He has stood by this plan throughout his entire campaign, so don't say shit about him not following up on what he promised. The health care bill has been a victim of what is probably one of the most despicable purposeful delays of a meaningful bill for political purposes in history. Republican senators are thinking of the health care bill as the place where they will "break" Obama, completely ignoring the fact that tens of millions of Americans are uninsured and the current system is completely monopolized and broken. His financial regulation bill is supposed to enter the senate after the health care bill is passed, but since all Republicans have completely shut down on even trying to come up with a reasonable argument against the bill and are just using crude fear tactics to delay the bill, I doubt we'll see it enter the senate before June.

All of this shit about the entire Republican side of the senate doing anything they can to ruin anything Obama tries to get passed, along with their criticism of his decision in Afghanistan which they COMPLETELY SUPPORTED BEFORE OBAMA DECIDED TO AGREE WITH THEM, is going on while Fox News is spreading rumors, threats, and paranoid, if not racist, claims relating Obama to Hitler, Stalin, Fascism, Communism (they don't seem to understand that those are opposites), and any other negative image they can think up.
So cut the guy some slack at the moment because literally the entire Republican party has united to try to ruin anything he's attempting to pass by any means possible. It's really amazing what he's been able to accomplish under such massive opposition.

the thing is, fox is just trying to get a big chunk of the country on they're side. that big chunk is what i like to call the sheep because they brainlessly follow anyone who looks like they could be smarter than them. half the people supporting these idiots probably don't even know what the word socialism means, but as long as it sounds scary enough, they'll believe it

it's funny because they must think they're some kind of crusaders or fundamentalists or something by going to these protests

he's saying that it's dumb to hate someone just because of their political party. i agree. You should hate him because of what he stands for, or what he believes in. Just because you're in a political party, doesn't mean everyone thinks the same. Different people in different parties have different opinions. It's pretty sad that you'll just outright hate someone because they're a liberal, you don't even know the person.
if you don't hate him, then just replace hate with dislike, whatever.
