Very small aliens, maybe. Water probably lied on the surface 2 billion years ago.

now this always confused me. On pictures of Mars, the northern pole of the planet has a bunch of ice surrounding Olympis Mas.So, is it frozen liquid hydrogen or something? probably not, i mean mars is very similar to us, so i doubt there would be frozen liquid hydrogen.

The ice at the poles is said to be about 3km thick, so if scientists wanted to try find water underneath the ice, they would have to have one big drill, and be drilling for god knows how long. Technology in the future will be much much more advanced, so maybe we will have to wait for more inventions.

I know it has probably been done before, knowing SP. Well I like Neptune most because I love sea and Neptune is the Roman god of sea. Or the ripoff of the Greek Poseidon if you like, lol.

View Profile I also like Neptune, but even though it looks quite pleasant, the winds are actually so strong it would probably blow the Statue of Liberty down. Don't forget that Great Dark Spot either:

perhaps, but why not just take an ice sample?

View Profile Hmm... they could if they had a cold container when returning to their spaceship... the Sun is much hotter out in the open space. Because the Moon has no atmosphere, ultraviolet light rays from the Sun heat the surface temperature to about 110'C. Now that would melt any Ice. But taking Ice samples would be a great idea if we could find the right way... without it melting because of our spacesuit heat...
Also, the surface temperature at the poles of Mars would be much much more colder than of the surface temperature of Antarctica, meaning heat in the spacesuit will be needed. This would flow into the hands of the spacesuit, where your holding the ice...

Uranus doesn't have a crack in it's crust. You know that right?
