Okay, I love the paranormal. I dont believe in it, but I find it freaky as ****. Post your's or somebody elses paranormal shit. The good ones, at least. I'll start:

''Once when I was abnout 15, I went camping with some friends deep in the bush. As an ausfailian, we have very restrictive gun laws, but as stupid teens, we took harmless pellet gun sorts that could kill nothing bigger than a fox.
Anyway, after shooting some crows like the hardcore badasses we were, we set up our like 8 man tent for about 4 of us in a camping area that was deserted except for our group. We had a small fire for a bit but when it started to dwindle past midnight we slunk back to the tent to drink beer and then sleep.
At probably 2-3 am, some weird shit went down. One of my friends woke me up, absolutely terrified. I was about to ask why the **** he'd woken me up really loudly when I noticed there was someone's silhouette falling on the tent. The moon was pretty bright, and we were in a clearing, so I could clearly see someone standing there. At first I figured it was one of the guys taking a leak, but everyone was still here. For some reason the other guys woke up too, but like us, didn't make a noise. We sort of just slid away from it, all horrified. We grabbed the guns and our knives and cowered. Weak shit, I know, but we were all young.
It got worse. The person, the thing, whatever it was, started moaning. It's impossible to desribe this noise, but it makes me shudder to think of this day. Open your mouth as wide as you can and make guttural croaky exhaling, moaning groans and that's what it was. "Uh, uhhh, uhhhrrr", and it ****ing presses up against the tent and slides slowly along, so we can hear the goddamned 'veeeeeek' of the tent material against it. We did nothing once again, but I'm pretty sure I pissed myself, quite literally. I nearly shot at it, but the gun would not have done anything. Annoyed it maybe. Made it angry, possibly. It slid along for probably 10 seconds, felt like several hours, and then walked off grunting like before.
I'll never forget it. Me and the guys don't go camping much anymore. Or talk about it.''

What I love about stuff like this is trying to find an explanation that's not supernatural, like psychological stress or other unnormal conditions of the ones percieving the situation. In that case for example, the first thing that struck me is that maybe it was a dream the guy had who's telling it, since apparently the guys never talked about it after it. It's entirely possible when you're sleeping in an environment such as a tent to have more false awakening dreams as usual and maybe he got some bad luck and it became a really vivid nightmare. And then after it he never spoke about this to any of the other guys so if it was in fact a dream or at least a nighttime hallucination, he would never know.

Far throws, I know, but I love this shit.

My grandmother has a doll in her living room. Its about the size of a year old child and looks a lot like me. I was always curious about the dress it wore, why it was so special with hand stitching and why they kept it so pristine and neat all the time. I wanted to ask, but something made me hesitate.. Until one night, high on ice cream and sour gummi worms, I garnered the courage to confront my grandmother and she quietly explains that that is the baptism dress she had sewn for me.

I gave her a weird look. There were photos of me everywhere (being the first grandchild, I was a faux celebrity in my family) and they documented that I was at least four when I was finally baptized. That dress was much, much too small for me. When I asked her, she replied, "We meant to baptize you just before you first birthday, but due to some... things, we had to postpone it." Again, I asked her to explain further. She stopped her knitting and locked her ice blue eyes on me as she said, "You wouldn't understand."

My grandmother's eyes are brown.

Someones gonna look at this thread.
Then they're gonna look at /x/.
Then something's going to happen that involves the "Make new thread" button and another certain letter.
And it's going to make me mad.

For somebody who has 4chan.org in their signature you do seem to be against the most well known board there. Anyways -

I have one that still happens to me only not nearly as much.

I've lived in my parents house for 18 years now and I'm apparently the only one who noticed this stuff happening.

When I was younger, my bedroom was where the computer room is now (just off of the kitchen) and once or twice a week, I would wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and see either a long bodied being (similar to a reticulan but not the enlarged head) or a semi-transparent thing kinda like the nurses from Silent Hill.) any way. When I would leave the bathroom, and go back to my room, the porch light would come on, and since my room was right by the porch i could see it. Every time the light came on I would assume it was my sister tring to navigate through the shoes. So I would wait and watch to be sure it was her and nothing else. Then a sort of haze would rise up from the kitchen floor are sort of cover the floor completly, and one of the apperitions would walk up the stair and through the kitchen, look at me, take a step towards me, and give me a sinister grin and walk out of the kitchen. The one night I went to a dollar store and got a laser pointer and shone it into the haze to test if it was real, and the haze blocked the laser at the doorway of my bedroom. Then the creatures would appear and they seemed solid becaise the dot from the laser pointer was totally visible on them, and they didn't like it, the tall one would walk towards me and try to enter my room, but I would scream and it would vanish along with the haze. The shorter one would charge at me and try to attack me.

Now I'm in my bedroom across from the kitchen on the other side and every once in a while they appear with the haze and I am still freaked about them. I tried shooting at the tall one with my airsoft gun but the bb's bounce off without a mark or a sound when they hit the ground.

Me neither. If I wasn't so tired I'd go rampant about the Hazy creatures thing though.

Well yeah. I didn't think that's it though, because in that case the story sucks.

Stop ****ing arguing.

When "Pokemon" was first released in Japan, there was an odd phenomenon between children ages 7-12, particularly in those using headphones to listen to the sound effects. Increase of nosebleeds, irritability, insomnia, and addiction to the game, playing for hours and hours on end and crying to the point of vomiting when the opportunity was taken away.

Roughly 70% of these cases ended in suicide.

In almost every case of the aforementioned symptoms, despite gameplay time recorded to the limit of the internal clock, the game had not progressed further than "Lavender Town".

A closer analysis of the game revealed a tone in the audio of the music for "Lavender Town" at a pitch undetectable by fully developed human ear drums. Within weeks every unsold copy of the "first edition" the game were recalled silently and the game was re-released with re-mastered audio for "Lavender Town".

The widely known version is said to be missing three extra tones, as well as the unique, binaural tone of the first edition, although this is unconfirmed due to the rarity of working first edition copies; in the known few that remain, the internal clock and 'battery save' have all timed out and ceased function, and in many cases the game will freeze upon entering any battle.

The details of the story began to be passed around in mid 1997, said to originate from http://www.cornus.lensig.net/index538a.html, a defunct URL without credibility.

YouTube embed is the widely known second edition version of the "Lavender Town" song, if you don't remember how it sounds or never have known.

「シオンタウンの音楽」 ("Song of Shion Town") "Lavender Town Tone" Analysis (+ "Ghosts in the Machine" Analysis)
ライサンダー・ゴエトとレジロ (Version 2.2 2/12/99 「この物語はフィクションです。」)
Part 1: http://www.cornus.lensig.net/index538a.html
Part 2: http://www.cornus.lensig.net/index538b.html
Part 3: http://www.cornus.lensig.net/index538c.html
Appendices: http://www.cornus.lensig.net/index538d.html

Overview [$OVR]
The phenomenon of the "Lavender Town Tone" is a legend that involves a bizarre spate of medical cases and deaths from around the country that have been connected to the "Pocket Monsters" (Pokémon) series of games, in particular the first two games of the series, "Red" and "Green". Though the event is largely unheard of due to disclosure laws for companies based in the Kyoto Prefecture, there is a large amount of information that has been brought into the open by a number of dedicated individuals, including 関 内直 (Seki Uchitada) 伊勢 満朝 (Ise Mitsutomo) and 佐藤 治情 (Satou Harue), to whom this page is dedicated. Thanks also go out to 安藤 景忠 (Andou Kagetada) for providing images and animated .gifs of the visual phenomena.
This analysis will discuss the other phenomena that is often confused with the "Lavender Town Tone", known as "White Hand Sprite", "Ghost Animation" and "buried alive model", as well as the semi-related developer-tag that was inserted into the game, and how to safely perform these "easter eggs" in post-first wave cartridges.

History of the Game [$HIG]
The first cases of the "Lavender Town Tone" and associated events were reported a few months after the release of of "Pocket Monsters Red and Green" for the handheld "Game Boy" videogame console. These videogames were wildly popular with children between the ages of seven and twelve (their core demographic), which was no doubt one of the reasons why the "Lavender Town Tone" had the level of severity that it did. In the game, the player takes on the role of a "Trainer", whose task it is to capture, tame and train wild creatures called "Pocket Monsters" for battle. These games, and the two newest additions to the series, "Pocket Monsters Gold and Silver", an anime, manga, figurines, a collectible card-game and home console games have resulted in Pocket Monsters becoming a multi-billion dollar franchise.
In one part of the game, the Trainer comes to a small, out-of-the-way place called "Lavender Town" (シオンタウン). This town is one of the smallest hamlets in the game (aside from the Trainer's own home town), and possesses very few of the services available to the Trainer in every other city in the game - indeed, the location would be unremarkable were it not for the "Pokémon Tower" (ポケモンタワー) located there - a colossal building that holds the graves of hundreds of deceased Pokémon.
It is theorised that, because of this location in the game, at least two hundred children lost their lives, and many more developed sudden illnesses and afflictons - and this does not consider the vast waves of unreported illnesses or deaths whose cause went unnoticed.

History of the Pathology [$HIP]
It was not until Spring/Summer of 1996 that the cases that would eventually become linked to the Lavender Town Tone began to surface. The earliest record of the acknowledgement of the effects of the Lavender Town Town that the author could find came from an internal report made in June 1996 by the company Game Freak Inc. (株式会社ゲームフリーク), which was then leaked by one of its former employees, Ms. Satou Harue. In it, an employee gives a list of names, dates and symptoms - records of children between the ages of 7 and 12 who had suffered various medical problems as a result of playing Pocket Monsters Red and Green versions. Some records are listed below, with the full listing in Appendix A [here]. (It should be noted that entries in the Appendix also include symptoms borne not from the "Lavender Town Tone" [an audio phenomenon] but from the so-called "White Hand Sprite", "Ghost Animation" and "buried alive model", all of which were visual phenomena that provoked similar but distinct symptoms. More details on Part Two [here]).
