I didn't read any of the last 14 pages, but wouldn't it be cool if we had like... a premium member thing? where deserving members get they're own private forum and all that jazz. Like gcm on sfdt. It'd also encourage new members to post more often and more maturely to try to get promoted to premium.

Well, all the NTFs and and higher-ups already have that.

They have no care of us lowly members. :(

On other websites like shiftlimits and thebackalleys people don't leave irc. they just have it as half the entire community actually and most of the communication happens there. It's a really good thing for a forum to have. The problem with that here is that there's a thinner density of members that would invest an irc window being open to this website. I think Bongo was the only (almost) constantly active irc user last time.

I think a forum reskin is more important at the moment, ugh!

why? it doesn't look bad. Also 2 updates can happen at once if they're done by separate people

i don't really have any complaints with the colour scheme, but the threads list is too damn spacious! i demand compactness!

An IRC chat system would be cool, and I'd volunteer to be one of the active members. Although we'd need some kind of moderation system. . .
