CHAPTER 7

Silence fell upon the room. It was dead silent. The only thing on our focus was the door. Something was behind it. What were we supposed to do? Open it ourselves? Or wait for it to be open? I'm not sure, but we just stood there. It could've been a gunman, but something was different. Something told me it wasn't. Whatever was behind that door was even worse. I clenched my sniper tighter. What if maybe it was nothing? Maybe a rat? It seemed like hours we stood there, really it was only 30 seconds. Then, slowly Myself quietly stepped over to the door, not making a sound. His flashlight had been turned off, and The Dude followed. In the dimness that I could see, Myself put a finger over his mouth making the "be quiet" motion. Already following the order, we stood there. Very slowly, he turned the knob with as little noise as possible. He slowly creaked it open with one hand having his other clenched onto his BMG pointing at the door. It made it 's trip a quarter of the way....SLAM.
The door was smashed wide open and something flew through the door. It jumped at me and I put my sniper in front of me as a shield. It tried putting it's head over to bite at me, but I threw it off and it flew at the floor. I then fired my sniper directly into it. It lay there lifeless.
"JESUS!" I shouted, "WHAT IN THE **** WAS THAT?!"
The Dude and Myself quickly flashed the lights on it. It was a crazed newb. Its mouth wide open and it's eyes colorless. It looked disgusting.
"What the hell is this?" Myself said in an angry tone.
"There's something going on here that's bigger than we thought." Dinomut said.
"You can say that again!" I shouted still in a state of mini-shock. I felt my bones shaking. That was too close. If I hadn't reacted fast enough, I would've been newb-chow.
"I've got no doubt in my mind that this place is crawling with more of them." The Dude said as he continued to secure our perimeter. I finally got my mind back into shape.
"So what were you saying?" Dinomut asked The Dude.
"Right. Well since me and Myself have the flashlights, we'll have to be on different teams. And there will have to be a team of two and another of three. So we have to decide now."
"I think I can handle the team of two, since I've got the BMG." Myself said.
"Okay," The Dude said, "Well then take Tortuga with you. That sword can come in handy if one of those things gets too close for comfort."
"Gotcha." Myself said.
"That means Dinomut and Sacred, you guys are with me." The Dude said. We both nodded.
"The split shouldn't be much farther now, so let's go." The Dude started off. The rest followed and we continued our original search down the single hallway. Then, the split came.
The Dude said, "Good luck you two. Make it back alive at the end."
"You don't have to worry about us." Myself said hunching his BMG over his shoulder, "We'll be fine." Myself then turned around and walked down his hallway on the right. Tortuga followed clenching his weapons. Then they disappeared in the darkness.
"Alright, stay close you guys." The Dude said, "These things can be anywhere. We need to search every room and find out what the **** is going on."
"We'll cover you." I said. We then followed him slowly and continued our search down the hallway room after room. Unsurprisingly, each room was empty. It felt like this was a pointless search. We haven't found one single room with any evidence. Forget evidence, anything at all! I wonder if all the other guys are doing okay.
"Wait! Sh!" The Dude said. Me and Dinomut stopped. "You guys hear that?"
"Hear what?" Dinomut said.
"Hang on hang on." The Dude said quieting Dinomut. We went silent and sat still. I didn't hear anything. But then we stood there for a few seconds, and then something caught my ear. As I listened closer, I noticed it was in the distance. It was.....behind us! We all quickly turned around. Shrieking and shouting was being echoed down the hallway. I looked through the scope of my rifle and turned on night vision. I froze.
"****! RUN!" I shouted. I then started running and the other 2 followed. What I saw, was the entire hallway we walked through being consumed by a raging fleet of newbs. And when I say consumed, I mean the hallway was disappeared in body after body of mindless maniacs. As we ran I fired backwards. I know every now and then I made a dent in the swarm, but it would just be filled again. I don't know. The swarm was in the darkness behind us. I didn't know if it was getting closer or not. All I knew was, it was still chasing us. I ran as fast I can. The Dude fired back with his AK killing off many newbs. Then, Dinomut pulled out a tiny capsule of gasoline. Quickly he opened it and twirled it on the walls and floors that we were passing. The he pulled his flamethrower from behind him and lit the capsule itself. He then threw it backwards and continued to run. As I looked back, I saw the entire hallway light up in flames. Running through burning were the mindless newbs.
"Oh great," I said to Dinomut, "Now they're on fire!"

I came. Shit man, this is getting intense.

Btw, I swear when that first newb jumped you, I heard the Hunter's scream from L4D...

I like it. Good writing :D
Maybe I could be the newly registered user whos all terrified of whats going on and I try following you guys for safety, even if you dont want me. And then say I get cornered or trapped some point in the future, and I transform into some crazy awesome thing that kills everything, and fall unconscious after o:

Lol. I laughed at the part of "Now they're on fire!". Classic man. XD

This is like, the best thing ever.

CHAPTER 8

The hallway lit up. The burning zombies were catching up. Shit if we keep running like this, we'll be screwed. Then an idea popped into my head.
"HEY DINO!" Raising my voice over the sounds of the shrieking.
"WHAT?!" he yelled back.
"PULL OUT YOUR CHAINSAW! I HAVE AN IDEA!" I shouted. He did so and pulled out his chainsaw, "OKAY TURN IT ON WHILE I MESS WITH MY SNIPER."
"WHAT'RE YOU PLANNING?" The Dude shouted still firing back into the swarm of newbs.
"I'M MESSING WITH MY SNIPER'S MODIFICATIONS TO HAVE IT FIRE AS FAST AS I WANT. I'M ALSO INCREASING THE RECOIL." I yelled.
"WHAT'LL THAT DO?!" he yelled.
"JUST HANG ON." I yelled back. Dinomut got his chainsaw running. "OKAY DINOMUT, SET THAT THING TO SPIN TWICE AS FAST."
"IT ALREADY SPINS AT DOUBLE THE SPEED OF A NORMAL CHAINSAW THOUGH." he yelled back.
"I KNOW, JUST DO IT." He complied. He fixed his chainsaw to do so.
"OKAY" I said, "GIVE IT HERE!"
"WHAT? NO! THIS IS MINE!" Dinomut yelled.
"DO YOU WANT TO LIVE THROUGH THIS OR NOT?" I yelled. He reluctantly gave me his chainsaw.
"THANKS!" I yelled. I then swung the chainsaw into the wall on my right and grinded it down the hallway through the wall.
"WHAT THE **** ARE YOU DOING!?!" Dinomut yelled, "YOU COULD BREAK IT!"
"JUST GRAB ONTO MY ARMS AND HANG ON!" I yelled.
"ISN'T THAT A LITTLE GAY?!" The Dude shouted.
"DOES IT ****ING MATTER?!" I yelled. They both grabbed onto my arms. "GOOD!" I yelled. The zombies were now only feet away. I could feel the heat of their burning bodies go against my back. **** I hope this works. I jumped into the air with the chainsaw in the wall still in my grip. In the air I did a full 180 turn, switching the chainsaw into my left hand and the sniper into my right. Aiming my sniper directly at the swarm only inches away.
"WHAT THE FUUUUU-" The Dude shouted in mid air. Then I fired my sniper. Then again. And again. And again. I was firing my sniper at an impossible speed. We started flying backwards. Going at least 5 times faster then originally. The wind was blowing against my back hard. Holding the chainsaw in the wall I held us up in the air with an arm's strength and continued to fire. We were literally flying down the hallway.
"HOLY SHIT!!!" Dinomut shouted. Holy shit indeed. It ****ing worked! The fire got dimmer and next thing you know it disappeared in the darkness.
"YES!" I shouted. My excitement died when we crashed right into and through a door. We hit the ground and skidded. The impact of the door slowed us dramatically and we stopped sliding across the carpet floor. I think I got rug burn. I looked around. This room was different. It seemed like an office.
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! YOU'RE GOING TO LET THEM IN!" I heard a voice say. Dinomut stood.
"Who're you?" he said.
"I'm the manager of this place! I was hiding in this room behind that metal door! It was able to keep out the newbs, but now you've destroyed it!" Just then Tortuga and Myself came running into the doorway.
"GUYS!" Tortuga shouted, "THEY'RE COMING!"
"Who's coming?" I said sitting up holding my head.
"A swarm of newbs!" he shouted.
Oh COME ON!
