Sorry for the late update, last night was a busy night.


CHAPTER 9

We all stood and quickly re-armed ourselves. Tortuga and Myself came running into the office. The sounds of the shrieks returned, except they were louder this time because they were coming from both hallways. Quickly we did the first thing to come to mind, we took cover behind the managers thick desk and turned in on its side.
"What're you doing?!" the manager shouted.
"Shut up and get down!" Dinomut shouted. Too frightened to understand what's going on, the manager did so.
"Shit, so what do we do now?" Myself asked.
"Well the newbs can only get through that small doorway." The Dude said, "Seeing as how we're pinned down, there's only one thing we can do."
"What?" I said, "Are you crazy? That'll never work! Eventually they're going to break through at our times of reload!"
"Then we'll have to take turns." The Dude replied. "Two at a time. Myself and Tortuga first, then me and Sacred."
"What about me?" Dinomut asked.
"You've already done enough making flaming newbs possible. Sit back. The only other weapon is your chainsaw which won't work in this situation." This being true, Dinomut sighed and sat back. The shrieking grew louder. They were almost here.
"Okay remember," The Dude started, "As soon as you have to reload, shout it out. Then your partner will follow. Once then the other two will start firing. In your time of reload, I want you to reload as fast as possible! Got it?" We all nodded. The shrieking was now close. This is it. Ground zero. Our stand at the source. We either live or die here.
I peeked over the turned table. Here they come. 5...4...3...2...1. Then a newb's face came into view.
"FIRE!" The Dude shouted. Myself and Tortuga then stood and fired there weapons into the incoming swarm. I didn't look, I only heard screaming and the impact of the bullets into flesh. Then I heard the magic word.
"RELOADING!" shouted Myself. Quickly him and Tortuga took cover and I stood with The Dude. We both fired our weapons into the swarm. The second I started firing, I couldn't believe my eyes as it seemed like an infinite number of newbs were infiltrating. Body after body fell in the hall and into the doorway. The Dude, having an AK, was doing a lot more damage. But my sniper still provided a lot of support since I still had it modified into rapid fire mode.
I killed at least 30 before The Dude shouted "RELOADING!" I then practically hurt my ass dropping at an extreme speed. Quickly Myself and Tortuga stood again and started firing. I flew the clip out of my sniper and dropped it on the floor, not worrying about where it goes. I then pulled another from my pocket and slid it into the holster. Then I pulled the joint back and loaded up my sniper. I reloaded quicker than expected. The Dude had just finished loading his AK-47, which is a lot quicker to reload than a sniper. A few seconds later Myself and Tortuga reloaded again. After hearing them say it, me and The Dude stood. But then, there were no more newbs. Everything went silent besides the sound of Tortuga and Myself reloading.
"Did we...kill them all?" I asked.
"No..." The Dude said, "We killed so many, that their bodies blocked up the doorway..."
