Uhh, that's not really good enough man. If you are going to be debating you gotta address your points or counterpoints. Otherwise what is the purpose of posting?

It would be better off without shoving religion down each others throats maybe. But religion helps people not piss themselves when they think of dying. It gives them a thought of safety after death.

but it makes you expect something after death. For some, it actually confirms their sins:

"Oh hey, I killed six people, at least I'm getting 72 virgins."

With Atheist views, it's just the end. There may be something after death, but don't count on it. And think to yourself; "was I a nice person? I'll never see these people ever again, did I live my life well?"

But the way religion shows itself is also a bit tedious. People have a tendency to say "God hates gays" and though i am not, i support gays and i really don't god would hate them.
Then the fact that you will be given 72 virgins doesn't guarantee female virgins. As seen on T.V lol.
I believe theres a god.
I believe he made us.
But i believe he loves all of us no matter what our sins. He will give us hell on earth if we break his laws and give us a great life to praise him. B
But going "Your wrong! God hates fags!" "Let Jesus into your life!!" To force your beliefs on people is 100% a nuisance. Especially when they come to my damn house at 7 o'clock in the fucking morning on a fucking Saturday telling me to let Jesus in! Nigga's please.

Whether or not there is a supernatural up above, the fact of the matter is religion has been extremely, EXTREMELY, abused throughout time. It's been used in such greedy manners that any higher power would be disgusted from such acts. Now although it's been terribly used in history, let's be honest here. A lot of people throughout time would go on massive killing sprees if we all figured that no matter what you do in your lifetime, the ending result will be the same for everyone else. You'll rot in the ground.

Take someone who thinks a lot, and put them in the position of no afterlife or supreme judgement. Many sins will be committed.

religion and atheism keep the world in balance.
without atheism, religion cannot be
without religion, atheism cannot be
well that's what I think. I believe God made us and I believe he loves us all. Even the gays

Sounds like the debate section might be seeing some action, since it looks like FA is full of religious people as opposed to stickpage being 99% atheists.

Religion never gave any real answers to me. Most religious people say that life is a test. By that they mean try to believe in a deity that has not given any actual proof/evidence. But since god is all-knowing and all-perfect. Why would he create a false human? Doesn't he already know what the outcome is. He can just create them all and say "you go heaven" and he will remove the false ones(which is impossible since everything he does is perfect-all knowing being) since. But why wouldn't he/she? So he can give us our own will and choices? But to bible limits the free will and killed anyone who challenged God(Witches,The scientific oppression, stoning etc.). So why would he do that? God sounds immoral and contradicts himself in more then one way. A omnipresent being like god just came out of nowhere since every religious fraction has no answer to where god came from. So why would a being like God be so improper but be perfect?(don't give me that "god works in mysterious ways" crap). The human race has come up with more logical theories as way we are here then a giant mystical man created the earth 6000 years ago. You may not agree with me but cherry picking your belief just shows your fear of it.

My explanation would be that his purpose is for us to figure things out on our own(and maybe with a little bit of help). Wouldn't that be much more better and much more satisfying than him making us to be perfect to begin with?

I honestly don't know. Personally, I would feel a lot more comfortable if everyone stopped being religious, but I would assume that lots of other people who have great faith in their religion would feel uncomfortable not knowing whether or not there is a god and who to follow. Some religions serve as guide or a beacon of light for some people who have lost their way, so taking away religion would be a huge impact to those people.
