I don't know if that's the way it's going to be done. Really, Stone's going to be looking for people to help him keep the forum up to spec, and not people who are going to fight him or argue with him on decisions he makes. That's not to say it's his way or the highway, I know from personal experience that if he wants something to happen that isn't really a good move or doesn't make sense, he will listen to reason. Ultimately, however, he will have the final say on things. I'm really referring to previous mods who might say, "No. That's not how we do things around here." And proceed to unban someone who was just banned, or something along those lines. Our goal isn't really to come in and fuck shit up for the hell of it, but rather to make Stickpage more of an animator- and user-friendly place like Fluidanims was, which may include some changes to rules or a mentality shift.

I don't want you guys to get the wrong idea from this post, however. I feel like I may not be explaining things well enough and that my post may be misinterpreted to mean something differently. I personally have vouched for a number of SP members to become mods. I just don't think it's very diplomatic or fair to push for mods from the existing community under the mentality that they were here already and thus they know best. I could argue that because our community is joining up it makes more sense to have mods from FA come in because they already know how to handle our members. I COULD argue that, but I'm not, because the best idea is to have mods from both communities working together to come to that middle-ground faster. Having more existing SP members as mods would put an unfair strain on the relationship between the merging communities, because existing members know how THEY like things done, but that might not be how they SHOULD be done according to stone and FA moderators. This could lead to some pretty nasty fall out.

I think we should put a hold on the mods and give the members of stickpage there ranks before picking out mods.
