I'm pretty excited about all this; it's definitely a good idea. This might be a stupid question, but where does CrazyJay fit into all of this? Was he consulted at all? Oh, and who's Jeff? Never seen him around here before.

Oh, and as far as mods go, my preference is to have Index resume his former position, because I think he did a good job. Devour just knows this forum really well, and he was quite an effective mod before the reset.

Jeff used to be the owner of Shiftlimits, he moved to FA after closing it down.

Ah, thanks. I remember that old place; some quality animations were produced there.

can you guys animate eh

I can, but rarely do. When I do, I don't animate stickfigures. My thread and posts with animations were deleted in the reset.

If my opinion matters I am DEFINITELY game for Index being a mod. I haven't seen him react with any hostility towards any of the FA members and he has a thorough understanding of how SP is run. He would provide insight to the FA mods on how to deal with others of the SP community. Also, he just seems like a nice guy and a good mod, he seems to understand what Stone is trying to do and I think he would be a great addition personally.

Of course, I may only be seeing what is on the surface, but from what I have seen from him tells me that I wouldn't mind him being a mod.

EDIT: oh man, I just realized that all traces of me were deleted from the batcave. Damn.

I'm usually the guy behind the scenes doing work that everyone takes for granted. I've administrated, moderated or programmed a lot of websites, including Forsaken Archive, Sticktoons, Flash Industries, Shiftlimits, Fluidanims, and Fileize. I've been a part of the online stickfigure animation community since before stickpage was created, and I've been lurking here this entire time, joining and posting only when I had a bone to pick with another member. I've actually watched stick animation grow into what it is today, and I'm here to do my part and help out where I can. :)

Man, Man, Sup guys. Anyone remember me? lol. I remember I wanted to be involved in a lot of things here too. Our communities (The few of us that are out there) should def. try to work together to help the scene grow. Lets just all try to be cool with each other, the animators here and on FA all love to improve, comment, show their stuff etc, and them and others love to participate in a lot of debates, discussions, etc too. I am in the FA team on Fluidanims and if those are all transfered to SP, I should be a mod or admin here too so I'll try my best. I do know a few of the older members here, and am familiar with both sites so I think it'll work out.

Well im personally curious and interested to see what'll happen, also excited to see the communities and sites grow, so lets gooooo. Edit: Gotta finally change my sig too lol. >>

The actual FA Team (which was basically our mods) was 8 people. Then there were 2-3 other mods besides them. Right?
In total we have like 16 mods, but a lot of them aren't as high up.

Don't know if you will be getting all our mods but I am just providing you with the information of what we had.

The reason why our site ran so smoothly (i think) was really because of what these mods did. They kept members in line and helped new members know the proper ways to act on the forum. They also deleted BUNCHES of spam and unnecessary things.

I think four or five would be decent. Anymore then that would just be excessive.

Well... I don't think FA should keep all their mods just for the fuck of it, even if they aren't active, while we have to fight just to get a couple from stickpage. Five mods total would be starting to push it. I looked at the usergroup for global moderators on FA, and assumed they'd be the mods coming over here. So with two from stickpage, it'd be five total.

But if the team thing gets mod powers...

If FA mods become all the mods of SP, this isn't SP anymore.
