if you guys got any other pracs throw them my way i need it badly

Test one, there's no force, easing, anticipation. There's no sense of gravity either.

Test two, The effect particles made no sense in the fashion they scattered. All you did is tint it different colors and place it on different parts of the screen. Next time you have an effect test place the effect in or near the center where it can be watched easily and criticized better to help you further.

Test three, this is in no way a perspectives test, I refuse to recognize such a fatal attempt as one
Try this,
Image
Black line = track/line of movement for feet
Red line = top of the head is always touching this line
Green line = horizon

Have the stickfigure, run, following the line.

I know what you mean about loosing a computer.

Keep an enclosed external hard drive for your project files back up.

The animation computer I'm building is costing me like 1,500. If I were to buy it pre-made I'd get charged something like 4,000... so I'm getting a good deal building it over buying it.

the point of the effect was for them to scatter firstly secondly something coming towards the screen has prespective and thirdly thanks but no thanks. and to everyone else who found issue with my FX i have nothing further to say but would urge you actually study the point of the effect itself its not and explosion made from smoke its particles, and the laws of physics dont always apply the way you think they do.

on to perspective dont talk to me about angles unless you can truly say you know all there is to know about perspective, i appreciate all the cnc but in all honesty wasn't asking for everyone and their best friends opinion just my clan. h and test one has easing force and anticipation maybe not proper but it does so i rather you not insult me like that. and yes i do take it as an insult but thank you anyway again appreciate the helpfulness i'll be trying out that angle you suggested even though i am highly limited on my ability to do so.

Sammy you gotta see that RawGreen is just trying to help you out. I realize that sometimes cnc may hurt a bit seeing that its criticism but its constructive criticism and you need to learn how to take it without going off on the person who gave it to you. Other than that RawGreen is right on most of the stuff he told you and i think you should be greatful that a fellow animator is helping you out in such a generous way.

that's right sammy.
you should be able to accept cnc from everyone as it can help you greatly.
I used to not accept cnc at all, just comments, but now I accepted them and take heed to them because they're what helped me improve.

on another note, I'm switching to 30 fps :D

didn't blow up if i did it would be very different besides i said thank you. and ive been told worse so no biggie there are a few things i dont accept however one of them is critizing my fx when its actually one of my better points ones at that. im proud of that effect and i was just explaining that it was meant to scatter that what i was told to make it do so i did it doesn't work under the same bases as other fx. and saying that i haven't animated (the punch had no easing anticipation etc etc etc) well that i don't take kindly to yes it was bad i know that but instead of saying it was bad do what flash did he said it was bad and then he said it needs this and this and this nothing was said to correct the animation only that it was wrong. That is my issue which is why i am irked he did however do that with the angle so no issues but something coming straight at you has perspective the last time i checked but again beside the point.

Sammy, ya gotta understand that they aren't telling you that your anims are bad just because, they're saying it to point out aspects you should work on and improve, followed by tips and tricks that can prove useful in aiding you.
It's kinda like you take cnc as insult abit, don't look at it like that.
look at it like, a teacher correcting your math homework, and focusing on the problems until you learn to solve them.
I know you said thank you, but the way you responded seemed abit negative.
Keep this in mind ok?

That's a problem I see in Cnc alot, alot of people say what's wrong then just leave it, not giving any advice on how to improve upon that area.
And try not to take criticism personally or disagree with it, because that means you haven't accepted it and it'll be harder to learn from mistakes, don't worry about it.
Because learning from mistakes is the best way to learn.

Once again I understand that sometimes cnc can hurt but in order to become a great animator (and person in general lol) you need to realize that he was just giving an opinion on what he thought would make the animation better. You need to understand the constructive criticism and take what you need from it and apply it. He wasnt trying to hurt you in any way so you cant just "go off" on him about how you think the fx was great or the other thing. I see what he ment by the particles seem scattered and im sure alot of other people would too. Animation is a game of trial and error on what looks visually appealing and he just wanted to try and help you make the particles look ore visually appealing. Plus, if you were satisfied with the way everything looked you couldve just left it at a simple thank you. :3 Please dont think that im going against you i just want to help you as well :)

i can't get better un less i am corrected and i wasnt corrected i was criticized thats my issue i could to rats about the cnc but tell me what i should do to get better.
