the point of the effect was for them to scatter firstly secondly something coming towards the screen has prespective and thirdly thanks but no thanks. and to everyone else who found issue with my FX i have nothing further to say but would urge you actually study the point of the effect itself its not and explosion made from smoke its particles, and the laws of physics dont always apply the way you think they do.
on to perspective dont talk to me about angles unless you can truly say you know all there is to know about perspective, i appreciate all the cnc but in all honesty wasn't asking for everyone and their best friends opinion just my clan. h and test one has easing force and anticipation maybe not proper but it does so i rather you not insult me like that. and yes i do take it as an insult but thank you anyway again appreciate the helpfulness i'll be trying out that angle you suggested even though i am highly limited on my ability to do so.
I don't regularly have a computer to use casually on my own, usually leaves me rushing to get done with whatever I am or was posting.
I wasn't quite pissed off or anything while posting either, just being stern.
If you look at my previous posts you'll see how big a dip-shit I was as a person back in 2006~2010. I would defend my animations the way you did here. Eventually people got sick of me and I made myself a troll target, I would snap and get all
humble and
behaved.
Even now I know that my animations here in 2012 suck horribly, I'm unrefined and still building my basics.
When I do an effects test, and I want critique on it, I want the effect to be easy to watch so that I can be told everything I'm doing wrong with the
effect. In most cases they will need to see the effect(start to finish) with no distractions.

Sure the bad example is flashy and whatnot but avoids the point of being an "effects test" if I were to submit it as one.
Perspective tests should
indicate that you're watching in a 3D space. You have the angle that you're taking the shot for that scene at and then the visible perspectives that come before and after that.
These aren't the best examples but they should suffice;

damnit, out of time, gotta run.
Edit: Alright, now. The point of the practice I gave you is to make something with substance/body so we have something we can critique. If it's too short, too hard to see, or unclear there's no exact way we can give you critique that will help you get better faster or at all.
Also in response to your rant(not to fight fire with fire), I don't know any more about perspectives than a few basics.
If it truly is something you want to keep private to the clan a public forum in an extremely popular thread is a bad place to put it.
Damnit, gotta go again, I'll wrap this up.
Your ability is only as good as you force it to get better.
Train it, struggle with it, get your mind to comprehend what you're doing.
Through all the frustration you put yourself through you will find you improve with each step you pull yourself through.
It's not easy, it's like a stubborn mule that pulls you back if you don't constantly fight it and break it in.
Alright? no hard feelings, don't take what I say as insults.
I myself am struggling to get better, I'm sorry.
