I don't think I've ever intentionally banned a user that wasn't a mod not via an infraction limit.

I've gone ahead and changed the infraction message. Here's an example of how it looks now:

You have received 1 infraction points(s) for Minor Spam because of the following post:

This is a stupid message.

Because it's worded a little differently, try to put the reasons as actions instead of messages. Most of you do this already, but I thought I'd mention it just to be safe. I've updated all the pre-made infractions to reflect this change.

As far as pox vs camila, why was his post in that thread considered minor spam? It seems like any other post on that page, I'm honestly kind of siding with pox on that one. sss's post above his is practically the same exact comment, why didn't he get infracted?

Not that I'm defending the way he's reacting to it. I don't know what he meant by "you're still butthurt" so clearly there's more to the story, but I don't see how that's relevant to his post in that thread.

Oh it was because he has 3-4 more other posts exactly like that one, and hewitt who is the owner of the thread reported it saying that he had already warned him about not posting that thing.

But this issue drags more than just an infraction exile..

That makes sense. If the thread creator is asking for that I agree that it's reasonable. Maybe when you're infracting in the future be specific in your message, I know some times misunderstandings happen when the infractee doesn't get all the information.

Ok, seriously, this level of blatant harassment should earn him a permanent ban. Probably Tsang, too. Did Tsang even bother asking Jeff why he was demodded? This is bullshit.

Hey, they are attacking a mod, which is infractable. Especially to this level. And even if it's IRC, that carries over here as well. I feel that if they're going to just talk shit about you, then they shouldn't be allowed back on the site or site's IRC.
