I put this in it's rightful place.
I disagree with the video. It proves nothing, nor disproves anything.
All this is is an example of what some people can come up with when they have too much time on their hands.

If anything, this video is arguing that a god does exist, because the (unseen) owner is a metaphor for God... and it's a fact that the shakers DO have an owner. (ergo, we have a god)

Arch that is a pretty heavy handed opinion. Obviously someone of your intellect should be able to see the metaphor presented in the episode.
If you would have watched to the end, then you would discover the test to determine a creator or not.

Since we can't prove anything other than our own existence, I say that this video proves without a doubt that God exists. You can't argue against me because you can't determine whether or not your arguments are logically sound, or you're just imagining it.
Also unicorns are real.
Also unicorns are real.

Your taking this to the far, far extreme my friend.
Logically, we can prove things exist. We see this, therefore it is, we hear this, therefore it is, we think this, therefore with intelligence we formulate an idea, etc.
However, since all our perceptions are just that- perceptions, then there is the off chance that nothing exists. There is the off chance your dreaming, that we're plugged into a computer. We probably aren't, and that probability is absolute. However, factually the only thing we can prove is ourselves.

Why would a knowing and loving god let someone kill themselves. Would you let your child kill him/herself?

So you're saying that the salt shakers had no creator? But that's factually wrong.

A creator, sure. A process maybe, a factory. A factory made by other beings. It had a creator, in the same way that we had a "creator" - evolution. Nothing to suggest a being that cares or has a plan

But sentient beings did invent and design salt shakers with a specific intent and purpose. Therefore, humans must've been designed by an intelligent creator too, for a purpose. God. (Just like John Landis Mason is the salt shaker god.)

Wait a minute.
Are you trying to say there is no God because we can kill ourselves?
If their is a God and the Christian faith is correct, then if you were to jump off of a cliff and kill yourself then no God wouldn't help you, he would let you die and burn for eternity like you deserve...

I must look like the most clueless bastard...I actually didn't know or even think what the message in this story was when I started it. I was just reading the lines...They were fun, and I liked doing it cause it gave me a chance to practice. If anyone was unaware, I narrated this video and I now come to see, that while I still believe God exists...everything said in religion is highly debateable.

Welp
I'm the one who made this video.
And first of all, I'd like to point out that it isn't meant to prove/disprove anything. It's a fucking Salt Shaker becoming self aware. It's a comedy.
Second of all, I'd like to point out that this is a three minute teaser of a ten minute film.
IT'S NOT FINISHED.
THE ACTUAL POINT OF THE VIDEO HASN'T BEEN REVEALED YET AT ALL
IT'S SO SAD THAT YOU GUYS ARE NOT ONLY TAKING IT SO SERIOUSLY BUT ASSUMING ITS MESSAGE BASED ON ONLY THE FIRST PART
It's just a salt shaker, I swear.

We have two people who posted in a row claiming that they were the person who made this video.
They're both losers.

Rhuddion (red, Jacob) wrote/edited it
Baledwyr (bors, Matt) is the narrator.
Jacob is definitely a loser and hipster. Bors is a pretty cool guy.
Also, I hopped back a few years in the Internet to get this. It's relevant

Well now that I think of it, this Baledwyr guy isn't that bad. Rhuddion still sucks though. Why is he so upset over nothing?
