There isn't anything wrong with the word nigger or "nigguh". The problem is the people that choose to let it offend them. If they take it in a derogatory manor then they must already be in an argument. In my opinion, the definition of nigger should be "a typical black person who is very obnoxious, unintelligent, and constantly embarrasses themselves and others in public". I'm not saying this definition doesn't relate to white people at all, there isn't a synonym for it that I know of. Your logic is flawed.

It's kind of funny how the only people who say there's nothing wrong with racial slurs are middle-class white people, the only group that's pretty much never been systematically oppressed.

I would prefer the term to mean that as well. But the fact of the matter is that history has forever tagged that term as a derogatory insult against all blacks. Even ones that aren't all ghetto like.

Well they didn't really randomly decide for it to mean that; it's obviously derived from the word 'swagger' which has a long-standing history in the English language. It's simply a result of semantic drift, and it's been around in AAVE (Ebonics if you're a casual) for quite some time. The only reason it's so popular nowadays is because of the rapidly increasing relevance of hip-hop and R&B music.
