I would prefer 25-40 because it's not too hard to handle. I once thought that it will look ugly because of the jagged sides but it just turned out awesome. I hope same goes to you.

You might also want to try out 45. It works out cool with me.

Anything from 0-100.

I use 46 and find it pretty awesome

I use 55-65 personally because of my style but really it's all a preference. You can do the exact same thing on 100 smoothing that you can do on 0 smoothing. Just experiment with it and you'll be fine.

I use a line style But I can recommend any where from 30 to 66 I Believe any more and they stop looking right.

For me I would use default 50 or 40 since anything below that would look horrible to me. :/ Then again, I'm a line animator.

Why in fuck's name would you specifically use 46? There's no point in that.

Technically but not really. That's like saying you can make a mountain from a bunch of mole hills.
Does anyone in this thread even know what the smoothing feature does?
All brush strokes are vectorized. That means it turns from a variety of pixels into points that are connected and filled. Vector basically means you're drawing with math.
0 smoothing = a stroke that's true to what you put down. It has more vector points and is really memory intensive to draw like that. I'd recommend 0 to anyone doing sticks with brush
100 smoothing = A theorized stroke that the computer processes and makes with as few points as possible. This usually looks kinda fucked up when I try it. If you're someone who's into using the fountain pen tool or the White Arrow tool then this is what you want, but I haven't found 1 person on stickpage that is.
Draw a brush stroke with both of these settings and select them with the WHITE arrow tool. You'll see what I mean.
As for what you should use, that's all comfort. I use 20 because I hate the vector correction flash has, but that's after 5 years of guessing and moving around with it.
