You're talking about a show where characters power up for entire segments of episodes, the villains talk and prattle on for episodes at a time and when a character almost dies they dramatically proceed to freak the fuck out, yelling their name with twitchy eyes. Naruto and Bleach follow equally simplistic formulas for their story arcs, not counting entire segments of pointless filler. And I wouldn't consider fighting Frieza for like 20 plus episodes straight forward, dude. Though I'm glad you agree it's not complicated, because thinking Naruto, Bleach or DBZ is complicated would be pretty derpy.
