Quote from Hewitt
I just finished Spirit Circle. Man, there goes my weekend; the feels are gonna keep me up all day.
I told you so! It's surprisingly good!
I'm thinking of moving on to the Spirit Circle guy's 3rd manga, the one about demons. But it's kinda long :(
It's not very good, in that it's closer to a formulaic shounen manga than it is to Spirit Circle and Biscuit Hammer. I'd say it isn't worth it.
Otherwise, I'm up constantly following Kamisama no Iutoori and the 2 Mahou Shoujo manga (apocalypse and site).
Apocalypse is too fucking confusing. And site is just kind of funny weird.
Two new manga I'm thinking of getting into: Medaka Box and Mob Psycho. I don't know anything about them other than the former jumped genres alot and the latter translated really well in the anime---not that I'll watch it. Are they okay?
Mob Psycho is good. I'd suggest watching it, I honestly think it's much better in anime than manga.
Medaka Box is weird. You might like it just because it's really fucking over the top and kind of campy and cheesy. It starts off SoL sort of, and the rest of the manga is really weird. I ended up dropping it when it became too much, but you might like it once it starts getting more action orientated. First 5 or so chapters are NOTHING like the rest of the series lol

i've actually read all of the medaka box, but like 2-3 years ago. it was a roller coaster on a ferris wheel

I didn't mind the SoL aspects of Medaka Box. I'm the type who will sit through beginning to end so I can criticize everything. I did the same for Hitman Reborn and honestly that manga's first arc was more annoying than Medaka's but I still liked it and I still missed it at times.
I'm already at chapter 120+ for Medaka and I gotta say...it starts getting real meta later on. I wanted to say it was like Jojo in highschool but it's still even more meta than that. It would be like if Rohan Kishibe became the main villain and his final battle lasted entire volumes.
The thing is, if it was straight up fighting shonen, I wouldn't have minded. Hitman Reborn did this and I was fine with it. But, because it's different, I start looking at this with some odd fascination. I cannot look away. It does something that's never been done in what would usually be a seinen or psychological manga. But it does so tongue-in-cheekly here and that's amusing at best.
Also, Mahou Shoujo Apocalypse ended its first season and it was very intriguing...and then the next one takes place many years later losing all my interest in it. It's like 20th Century Boys all over again where I'm suppose to wait a few more years for the plots to connect.

Don't tell me you didn't like 20th Century Boys.

You miss the pt completely. We are able to enjoy 20cb because it's an old manga long since translated.
But Mahou Apocalypse just started its 2nd season set in a future with completely unknown characters (about 10 of them) being bombarded at you. This feels reminiscent of when 20cb did this with its timeskips.
So it sucks that there is apparently a "Season 2" like Tower of God
Speaking of which I think its time I should go back to that one. I haven't read anything since the workshop battle

I know I was missing the point, I was being half-facetitious because I have this long feud with several people like Drone who refuse to read 20th Century Boys.
I don't know what to say about ToG tbh. I'd say stay put but you know.

Why? Is it very cliffhangery right now? Has the train arc ended?

Train arc has ended but I'd say not too much has actually happened. Probably best to wait until a more climactic arc.

Smartass.
I meant that there is nothing to say because, the only people who would understand Medaka Box are those people that have finished it. But then there's nothing to talk about because its already finished. Catch 22

I've been thinking about it for sometime now and...its just Medaka Box feels something like a piece I wrote in highschool. But I couldn't figure out how to get it right. This one did. I feel a little pseudo-jealous about it. That's what I like it and hate it at the same time

Dragon ball super episode 66 video
Best reactions video by far, for people that are spoiler safe.
I wanna talk about the future trunks story arc, but I'll see if anyone is interested first.
