I dunno, something about it feels like a well done cross between Ouran High School Host Club and Engaged to the Unidentified, at least in the way they approach comedy.

By and large it just uses tropes from shoujo manga or quirky characters and parodies them a bit. 'Throw two or more of the cast together, add a shoujo trope (sharing an umbrella on the way home from school), let the characters talk or hear a narration, ???, profit' rise and repeat. It sounds simple, and it is, it's probably it's greatest strength, but the jokes have a certain wit about them, it's a nice change from the normal school romantic comedy (it's not sophisticated but it's a far cry from 'opps I tripped over and now my hand is on your boob! Oh no, don't kick me! *nose bleed*').

Just based on the PVs the two new Studio Mappa works look promising, Psycho Pass season 2, Parasyte, Fate: Stay Night remake, the new kyoto animation work is pretty much guaranteed to be at least alright, kyoani doesn't make bad anime, Chaikas second season, Log Horizons second season, Nanatsu no Taizai and a bunch of other random miscellaneous anime that just sound interesting from their descriptions
I'm going to have a lot of shit to watch this fall

Edit: ok, I just read it, if that truly is the final chapter then the best conclusion I can come to is that the series got cancelled or something. It's really either that or the author just got tired of making it because there are so many other things that could have happened and this is very open ended and in no way conclusive at all.
Sigh. It always deeply upsets me to see things I like end like this, like I can't stop thinking about what could have been.
In any case, this guy should never write again if this is really the way he wanted to end this, because this is a completely unacceptable cop out

I finished Spice and Wolf 2 today and I must say it was very lovely. Like, what's the feeling that makes you smile a little when you watch a show that constantly has witty flirting between two characters that are sort of in a label-less relationship? Lovely seemed the most appropriate.

Also, as a confession to youwish, I think you got me on being "jealous" at how Lawrence gets to roam around with a babe. Like, at the start I was feeling what I'd probably feel if I watched a movie where Emma Stone had a passionate love-making scene with like Steve Buscemi or something. It really did become fun, though.


If I had money though I'd be throwing many Trennis to my screen in hopes of getting a season 3. This one is just begging for another season or any form of resolution.
