I said the bit about the parents because them dying can be taken as them leaving her. You don't have to die to leave someone.

View Profile Is that already the ending of Liar Game? Or it's more like a cliffhanger one... I mean isn't it better if the author add more to the afterstory? And did Akiyama and Yokoya just shrugged it out to the outcome? It would be really really nice if there's a sequel to it.

View Profile I dunno, Liar Game already had a good run. I feel a sequel would be too repetitive. Besides, the allure of Liar Game was never really the overarching plot but the intricacies of each game, so I'm not complaining.
That's not to say I didn't feel the ending wasn't underwhelming, but due to the nature of the manga I felt that it wasn't too detrimental to the manga.

View Profile It might get repetitive, unless the author decided to use a whole different set of characters with maybe a whole different set of games, like make it 20 years from then and Akiyama or Yokoya the creator of the game with their own mind, or resulting against the authority or something. I mean like the Kamisama no Iutorii if you read it. Different games, different sets of characters, still the game experiences.

View Profile You only mentioned one, and I said you'd probably have better luck with a tv series :/

View Profile I finally got to watching Snafu.
What was Yukinon's sister's intention when she joined the cultural festival? It's obviously some form of social action, but I don't really know which. Is she asserting her superiority to her younger sister? That's really the only thing that I can think of, which really negates the "I look out for my imouto-chan" character that I've been lead to believe she was.

I'm really excited for the next season.

View Profile Oh so it's just teasing. I thought it was kind of a big deal to little sister, and big sister is doing it just to spite her.
EDIT: True Tears ep 4
I was wrong about best girl. I've since ascertained the identity of the true best girl,
the one that has a more killer fashion sense than Noe.
At first I thought that the red coat basically solidified Noe for the title, but in the end, it's what caused her to fall to second place, losing to the coat's rightful owner.
But yeah youwish you're right bestfriend does join in the mix.

I think it's possible that Noe just ditched classes or something when she scattered the berries. Not that many people will see it because classes are on-going, and the few people who see it will probably be oblivious. I mean, what did you do the last time you saw someone you perceive as crazy doing crazy things? Noe's already famous for being crazy so it's not impossible. Still think she's not over-the-top crazy yet.
When they got there, it was already late fourth quarter since the score reached 83. It's possible that Noe went there when the game started, saw perfect girl, concocted a plan, went to her bag to retrieve the berries, made a trail, waited on the tree, and make it just in time before the game ends. Maybe best girl saw perfect girl prior to going to the tree? And like I said, maybe it has something to do with her tear fetish, so I wouldn't call it contrived just yet.
And at least she's not someone who just doesn't do anything to get herself closer to her goal. "Oh maybe if I cook enough food then it'll reach his heart!" No honey, that shit ain't gonna fly. "Maybe if I don't tell Shinichiro-kun my feelings then he won't leave me behind just like my parents did!" I'd consider that as an act of selfishness, and an act of being a pussy about it, so I can't make that one best girl. So by deduction, Isurugi Noe is best girl.
Stop trying to make chicken girl happen, it isn't going to happen.

You sound surprised that I'm right... I'm always right... Which is exactly why you're still wrong about best girl! Though I'll admit your current best girl is better than your last one.
But I liked this ep. I mean I still wanna punch daft protag in the face, but I have a feeling that'll be every episode, so I can over look it. The ep was cute and things are starting to progress in a meaningful way so I'm happy with pretty much everything except creepy onii-chan's weird attempted face touch... Fuck that was weird.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS yeah I forgot that happened. So now aniki with the imouto complex joins in the mix, making it a love hexagon?

View Profile That's not a spoiler lol... But we might as well speculate on it now!
I dunno, I can't really think to much about it at the moment, I can't see this series going full incest - or even bakemonogatari incest - on us, but I'm left wondering why the hell it was there... If it was meant to convey that he deeply cares about her and is interested in what's best for her then they missed the mark, and I mean they missed the mark like Lord of the Rings missed the 'friendship' mark with Sam and Frodo and landed in homosexual undertones territory. I'm also confused as to why they would show that and then have the next scene he is telling daft protag to date his sister, that gesture and what he says kinda contradict themselves, so I dunno, maybe he's actually gonna play a much bigger role in the story than I though and his character might get fleshed out in a weird "I want to help my sister, but she's so precious to me that I don't want anyone to be around her"... Which sounds like a creepy as fuck character...
The cynic in me is kinda willing to bet that we only had that face touch moment so the conversation between the brother and daft protag had some tension and a standoff-ish vibe before the surprise "reveal"...
