Almost forgot about White Album 2. The best part about it is that you don't need to watch White Album, they're like completely different worlds(I think, or just characters?). Anyway, I would also recommended this, I loved it especially the OP.

Yeah they're the same timeline, just later on and with different characters.
Which is good, since the original White Album was god awful, mainly because of it's characters

I'm so annoyed, they gave the Haruhi spinoff to Satelight instead of Kyoani... Granted I didn't see too much of it, I just feel like they ruined it; it just looks bad now.. and it lost the feeling and synergy that the original series had that I feel that no other studio could replicate but Kyoani. Very disappoint

I say they're much better off focusing their time on other projects. They deserve newer material to work on.

Well many of their newer works haven't exactly been amazing or well received either. I suppose since it's a spinoff, it's not as big of a deal. But if they ever made an S3 without Kyoani, I'd be pretty disappointed. Though, it's nice to see they're branching off and creating their own original series', Haruhi was their iconic series and it'd be a shame if they didn't work on it if they ever did plan on a continuation.

Yeah I was pretty dissapointed with the change as well, although I was never a gigantic fan of haruhi in general, but I still liked it. If they ever seriously continue I can't see them not bringing it back to kyoani though honestly.
Kyoani hasn't made anything spectacular lately, but I mean it's not like they've made anything bad either, it's nice to see them branching out and doing other/different things
