Not everyone binge watches everything Smile.

If you didn't finish a 12-13 episode anime in one go, you didn't binge watch shit.

personally I think it's a waste of time but I also thought Angel Beats! was a waste of time so...

But then again if you started watching it at the time you posted then you probably already finished so it won't matter anymore.

If someone looks at the cover art and read the synopsis of angel beats and they can't tell it's regurgitated crap, then they need some help.

Angel Beats! takes place at a high school acting as a limbo for those who have died, where students learn to give up any lingering attachments they still have from life before passing on. Those in the afterlife school can still feel pain as they did when they were alive, as well as dying again, only to awaken later with no injuries. The story follows the main protagonist Otonashi, a boy who has lost his memories of his life after dying. He meets Yuri...

aaaaaaaaand holy shit that plot couldn't be more generic even if it was raised in a test tube. It's got the holy trinity of shitty anime tropes/cliches, afterlife, highschool and suddenly meeting a strange girl....and then some.

Someone could tell me that this got great reviews, that the show isn't as bad as it looks, that its worth the time to watch. But any experienced anime viewer can probably tell that they're not gonna be walking away from too much memorable here, to put it plainly there's probably just flat out better shit to watch.

It could just be me, but really who can read that synopsis and really think HELL YEAH I WANNA WATCH THIS!

Hey Raptor, is Billy Bat any good? I wanna try it

I'm also a little tempted to start reading BLEACH now that its over, and see how long I can go before I get sick

Billy Bat's pretty good, but I don't think I liked it as much as 20th Century Boys and Pluto.

In my defense, I watched it because I heard it was supposed to be a feels trip (it wasn't). I never read synopses because I prefer going in as blind as possible.

Well that strategy really would make the great shows stick out, so I gotta give you credit there.

I'd say just start with part 1 since that's the beginning. Can't really say if either of the series has better plot than the other since it's kinda all one big thing. Also the series with that scene in the opening is Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Stardust Crusaders Season 1.

Also, Raptor if you're reading this (if you're not then nobody's ever going to, I think) isn't it kinda funny that you like this story but multiple times it reminded me of Clannad (the slope to school), Toradora (falling in love with someone you rejected), and Nisekoi (childhood friends not ending up with each other), all of which you hate/don't like that much?

Now you're purposely trying to grind my gears. Those are so vaguely connected points that they might as well not be points lol

Ye but like how wrong am I about Kids on the Slope in your opinion? I think the most controversial thing I said was the thing about [is]Sen leaving[/is], and I expected you to tell me I'm an impotent virgin faggot.

Well the thing is that I read Kids on a Slope like two years ago, so I vaguely remember what happened. Plus, I haven't watched the anime, so I don't know how much it deviates from the manga. It doesn't seem fair for me to argue if I can't even make a coherent point with evidence.

If it makes you feel any better, I loved Kids on a Slope and if I was more familiar with what happened I probably would've called you a moron.

Yeah I watched it semi-recently, it was really nice. I actually have no idea what I'll watch this season. Any suggestions?

Mob Psycho 100 is comedy/action with purposely bad art. From the same mind from the guy who did One Punch Man.

91 Days is a mobster thriller revenge tale. It seems generic, but I think it does enough things in its own right to warrant being praised on its own merit.

ReLIFE I hate, but some people like it a lot. It's a school comedy where a 27 year old man without a job is given a pill to look like a high schooler again. It isn't like 17 Again or anything at least.

I think there are a few other shows worth checking out, but the first two are the only ones I've seen first hand and can recommend to you.

Jojo is still airing, dunno if you're interested in that.
