I waswatching TV when it went out and I saw a blue light, I looked outside the window and saw a circular ship in the sky not so far from my house. Then after a while it just disapeard and the electricity went back on. Do you think it might be vsisitors(aliens)or just some kind of power out?

Jake! I know what that is. When a highly technological item sends out ultra-violet rays, it can distort the magnetic field, and switch the iron contained in the metal, thus, melting upwards.

Oh Energy you forgot that for that much magnetic power, light would also begin to warp around it. Which would make it glow the blueish tinge because light is refracting through it.
