People with characters who have super developed timelines and have plans for the future shouldn't die. That would result this movie non-cannon for them.

keep in mind of Xero's Backstory, who he's friends and rivals with, his hidden abilities (emphasis on "Flames of Legend", hopefully I'll release it soon)
and his personality.
