so.. me and my bro just bought an XBox yesterday
and i decided to make this thread to ask you which console you think is better :D

personally i prefer the XBox

so please post your opinions and tell us why you prefer that console

There pretty much the same thing. You wont see much diversity apart from a few game titles and the PSN/LIVE options. I dont see why soo many people believe one is superior to the other. If you ask me PC has alot more potential than both combined. Although it's major downside is it can tend to rely on your gear.

EDIT : I play on all 3 platforms frequently so don't jump to the conclusion i'm being biased.

yeah ....i play games with ps3 .and xbox360...ps2..ps1..also PC but i like xbox360

i think it depends on what games you like. if you like shooting games, then it's Xbox. if you like adventure games then its PS3. PS3 is the more kid freindly console. but i like xbox

imo, ps3 has more quality games and online you can play without paying for, which sure is nice. i dunno about the services for either since i don't have any of em.

I own a 360, but the ps3 is basically the same damn thing. there are a few exclusives to each console, and I've been needing to get a ps3 in order to play a few of them. most of the games I play are multi-platform so it doesnt matter that much to me in the end.

I also have a PS3 and I use it to play stuff on my PSP like Infamous through remote-play (since it's hacked). It's very handy if you wanna play your PS3 games but someone else wants to watch TV or something. And I've never been a fan of the Xbox controller, it's very uncomfortable because one of the analog sticks are like on the top left of it. Very annoying after a little while.

BUT in my honest opinion, PC can beat any console, if you take out the factor of pricing. Isn't that mainly why people make consoles? So it's cheaper and nearly anyone can play games without buying a super computer?

I totally agree with this. Any real gaming computer would beat out any system, except price wise. Imo it's worth it however since you're not just paying for gaming with a few perks, you're paying for the full gaming experience with a shit ton of other things too that are actually useful (unlike most of the downloadable "apps" for systems) so it's well worth the price.

if you have a computer thats capable of gaming it's pretty much redundant to have an xbox, unless youre a giant halo fan.

ps3 has better games imo. and it's region free so you can get japan exclusives. and the free online is nice.

I like both stations, but I choose Wii. 2Bl

PS3 is imo better than Xbox because paying to play online is dumb...
