When I was a young boy, a childhood friend introduced me to stick figure battle animations or whatever they're called, and they were totally awesome to my 10 year old mind. I eventually found this site and started frequenting it whenever I got the chance, and eventually drifted to the forum. I tried to make an account but I saw that the age limit was 13, and since I was such a saint I literally waited the two years to turn 13 and joined a little while after my birthday because I didn't want to get in trouble.
Since then I've been trapped here. I do feel like I am good friends with some members here, but on the whole I really do not like this forum and I don't know why I keep coming here.

I was finally going to join FA to see if i could learn animation, read the front page, heard about the merge, came here.
And thats pretty much all there is to it.

I scratched my head and suddenly decided to join for some animation learning and "language practicing". I was so bored back when I was 12.

Story:
When I watched disney movies, I was like, "Oh, that's cool! How do they do that?"
I figured out that it was called animation, I googled it, I found some stickfigure animation stuff that I can't remember, somehow I found stickpage and got obsessed with the 'popular' animators, and I joined stickpage.
I bumped like a thousand old threads, made lots of people mad (Including Lake. I remember that he was always angry.), and started to animate.
I filled Miccool's inbox, bugging him a lot. I started 3 or 4 forum websites about animation. The most people I got was 30. Miccool got me to name one of my sites "flashfest.hostname.com", and I didn't realize until later that without the host name it was a porn site.
I made friends with people like Kieran., Poppetje3D, Sacred, Woof, and briefly Lixu. I made many collabs that got me a little bit popular (Jump the wall collab and sequel(That's later on FA) and some other crappy stuff.)
-I also made a writing forum and invited writers from here like Devour. That didn't last for very long.-
I made a forum with gunnzoz that didn't last either. (I think this might have been later when I was on fluidanims.)
I then made friends with Fresh and A16, who are awesome. I don't think they're active anymore.
Miccool said he was going to go to fluidanims, and I was like, "What is this magical website?" And so I went there. I stayed active here and there, and back and forth.
I made friends with Pluto, and I liked his collabs and stuff. Cool guy. Theory was cool too.
I made Run1, a joint on irc. I went through a bunch of name changes. n0trusting > n0trust > NofT> Chip > NT.
Run was what got me more popular, and Woof liked it a lot, so he asked me if he could make Run2. I said sure. That was more popular with lots of famous animators. Now lots of people think that Woof made the Run series instead of me.
I joined lots of collabs. One here was the kill sacred finale.
I then made Run3, even though I had earlier told Woof that he could make it. I felt guilty, so that's why I say in the credits "Thanks for letting me make this, Woof." And now people still think he started the series. Run3 was pretty popular.
I spent lots of time on irc with people, and still do.
I created more mild collabs like Chasm and Decapitation.
I've animated small animations throughout this whole period, and you can find the best I've made here: http://n0trust.deviantart.com/
I have a terrible memory, and lots of the events I just typed are probably out of order. One big change on stickpage that I remember was when the portal closed a while back.
I went off and on, being off these websites for half a year or something, and then coming back on.
Very recently, fluidanims merged with stickpage, and I focused back here instead of fluidanims. I will be making more collaborations, and may have already started some.
And it is the 5th of September, 2012.
The End.

Some of you people I've known for a while might not have known some of the details above. And now you can.
Synopsis of my activity on Stickpage compared to other animation community websites: (In order from which I spent most time on to least time.)
1. Fluidanims (Joined early 2009, active until merge with ons and offs.)
2. Stickpage (Joined 2008, active until now, except for a big gap in the middle.)
3. Various forums of my own
4. Newgrounds (Not active at all except for voting on friends' videos.)
5. Shiftlimits (Joined between 2008-2010 and stayed active for about a week.)

its funny, these threads, people always want to tell their story but rarely seem to read others. maybe i'm wrong but i hardly ever see someone replying to another users post in these sorts of threads. and from personal experience at least thats because they dont read them...i'm trying to change stuff like that so i decided to read the posts in this thread even the tough TL;DR above :P
eitherway im just like everyone else and will post mine:
2004: found stickpage, got eztoon, started animating, was a reg on the forums and one of the most frequent posters and i assume at least a semi respected member
2005: got flash, made xiao style 2: lab shutdown - http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/252214 probably not up to todays standards now but 7 years ago this thing gained me a ton of respect
2006: started xiao style 3, got 3/4 done, quit animating apart from one try at a competition in '08 in which i got beaten in round 1...
2007-2012: popped in less and less as the years go by, still post very occasionally, xiao style 3 is still sitting 3/4 done on my computer...feel bad that i never completed it
also my last tracked post was 3 years ago, not sure if thats just cuz others have gone off database or if it's really been that long...

Everyone just keeps coming back. It's a curse.
And you see, I replied to your post. Also, finish that xiao xiao style 3. I liked the style 2 one when it came out. Just make sure you up the sound quality.

We had a forum reset and lost two years of posts. It kinda sucked. There was an SPP History thread which people had put a lot of effort into.
I think I saw you post once or twice in those two years. Was it you who became a professional poker player?

yep thats me :) poker pro jan 2011-october 2011
poker dealer october 2011-august 2012
now pro poker player again
guess i posted sometime last year then or you wouldnt know this, cool.
@N T - haha not sure if i even have the animating ability anymore. problem is its on a 10 year old computer which goes super slow and the very thought of sitting at that computer for over 2 hours is unbearable. i might just release it unfinished if i ever decide that im 100% sure i wont finish it. else i'll just throw in some ending as quick as i can without trying to give away that i probably suck at animating now and release it :P
& upping the sound quality...idk in what way you mean but my knowledge of flash is all but gone so i probably wouldnt even know how, unless you just mean choose different music :P

Holy mother of God, it's St3lf. That guy who criticized the hell out of my animation in 2008...
So eh, hi. How's XiaoStyle3 going?

Paradoxically enough, I haven't improved much since then. Anyway, it's nice to see another old member again.
