Because the amount of lag is not enough.

Footsteps would cause sooo much lag

It will look bad, also the units dont wear shoes or boots so how can the footsteps be louder?

I have a cool idea, how about adding a sort of veteran tag in the game by the your IGN. It could be players that have been actively playing the game for over the period of a year and that are over 2k (Rating can vary, just my choice) get a little veteran tag implemented by their name, i think that'd be really sweet.

I don't see the point of that.

And then wyz floats around with a different alias.
That is very dangerous sir.
What would the benefit be? Why not just make an alt?
A spectate feature would be nice for ingame.
Like if say I and ... Um... Idk floont were playing people could drop in to the game.
Like say there would be an option to favorite a player. And they'd get the option and the ability to see when they are in game. Then they can click watch game. A group could chat about the game as it happens. Completely separate from the two playing each other chat box.
Kinda like the twitch thing I guess.

Why? Would you play differently if it's not wyz you're facing? Would you underestimate a 2.4k ele player just because you've never fought him before? If that's the case, if you lost you deserved to lose. Never underestimate anyone.
No actual benefit, except for when you wanna change your name but don't want to start a new acc. Cuz you know, you have to make a new home account and all that. Also smurfing is bad for when you're back at the top.
Good idea, but wouldn't that cause lag for the people who are in the game?

Also a feature that shows the rank of the person you're about to play would be nice.
@ai. I was thinking that... Not really sure how it would work.
I thought if it was a seperate route for specifically text it shouldn't affect the video and audio and ping and bleh... I have no idea honestly. It was just an idea. They did it on dueling network.
If you go there you can watch games whilst other people play.
(Ie 8 people watching 2 peeps playing)
And lag never really occurs.
If they could figure out how they did that I'm pretty sure it could be possible.
These guys are smart. They got this.
Then again there's no guarantee they'll do this.

turn based card game =/= RTS
They do have that in starcraft though. Not sure if you would be able to do that in flash without causing massive amounts of lag.

So nobody is sure then?
Maybe a different variant?
Have a Cnc Section? People could post replays on the game site. And other players could learn much faster from their mistakes.
Would this be better?

You know what there should be? An experimental mode. This allows the player to tweak with the status of units to whatever they like, such as having armor, amplifying damage, increasing attack animation, etc.
It'll only be accessible to membership users, BUT member users can invite non-member friends to experiment with them.
As for starting an empire, the game will automatically choose order as default, but that's always changeable in-game.
Upon choosing experimental, the player can only choose one AI, but difficulty and race of the AI is always adjustable in-game as well.

Would need to add multiple AI behaviors and in Elementals too before you could use that effectively. Even without, that would still be very fun to tweak the in-game functions.
