5: Okay, you can do whatever you want with this.
6: "waste of dev time"
7: How about the elemental statue, does that have anything to do with any unit there? "waste of dev time"
8: If you're at the point of lagging out you deserve to lag out, it doesn't need a longer time, that just makes it more annoying to wait.
10: Okay, now that I read it more carefully, sounds pretty good.
11: Maybe that would help, but it's not necessary.
12: Just cancel the que before watching a replay. "waste of dev time"
13: Chaos needs no nerf, nuff said.
15(14): I think it would take too much to code. Nerfing certain empires in certain matchups is just a terrible idea.

Perhaps rather than simply say "omg so ooppppppp" you can suggest some nerfs and give some reasoning as to why you think they're necessary?

The elemental statue represents elements. Not a nonexistent unit. Which is why I said chaos having some kind of skull would be more suitable. 6. would barely take any time. and would make game cooler. 8. I am estimating around 1/4 of SE players don't have good connection. This used to be my case. I quit SE, and started again after I got better internet. Because I was so frustrated at all the time lagouts could have been avoided if I had had a few more seconds. If you lagged out, I doubt you would say you deserved it. 12. reread skeleton's statement. that situation happening is what I would like to avoid. And sometimes, a match gets interesting and you want to finish the replay. But you can't have any control over that. 13. Chaos needs nerf. 15. Your opinion, my opinion.
@IHATETHISNAME
will write a long statement on that later, don't worry.

Whatever you say buddy, I'm not going to argue over 15(14) suggestions. Many probably won't be brought in-game. I'll be awaiting your rant on chaos's opness.

from a thread in the ele section
15. V - Clone level 1 & 2
The unit V will gain the ability to create two clones upon command.
Level 2 The unit V's clones will do increased damage.
*Clone level 1 is a mere distraction until you can upgrade this.

lol how is it distracting if they are easily distinguishable.

if v's clone actually did this they would make a much better distration. make them distinguishable to the player using them only i say

12. Kaito, if you want to avoid getting a match pop up when looking at replays then CANCEL THE DAMN MATCH QUEUE. You have complete control over that.

I'd quite like it to stay as it is so I can watch replays while queueing and still be able to accept a match.

13. Chaos does not need a nerf. OvC is a skill matchup determined by skill and both sides at the highest level of play are completely capable of winning as it is.

I respect people's opinion, only if they can explain their opinion.
Then could you stop asserting that chaos needs a nerf and give reasons?

15 is ridiculously horrible. Modifying units to each matchup in game development is one of the biggest NONOs.

It's a cheap way of getting out of balnacing and messes up a player's intuition of units, especially since the bars of HP aren't even standardised in the first place.

But anyhow I'm done. I'll add that the chaos statue is legitly my fav statue of all three. And learn to game balance.

Did you know that you get 5% less happy every time you lose? This will affect even the most well-rounded players...

The idea is to change "Play Match" to "Ranked Match" and add "Quick Match" queue for non-ranked matches that either does not taking account of win/lose or separates win/lose from ranked vs non-ranked.
This won't help players improve their abilities to cope a game, but for the least, users will feel less in a lost for the fact that their rank does not go down along with the match.

From a quick research, about a third of the users who leave a rating only game complained about what they lose in an unsuccessful gaming session. While Stick Empires may have a friend list that provides its own quick match, asking for codes can be very tedious, as well as to some players, feel that the request would intimidate or annoy their fellow users.

I can say a few more, but the fact that the idea section is a very cluttered up post, it is likely that it won't be read(unless you like the concept of this idea, then you can help by giving it a notice).

When did you make up that statistic?

Getting ranked matches takes long enough anyway, and people can already just idle in the chat looking for unranked if they really want that

You tell me. For the least, some of us take our research seriously and do them before calling any of it "made up."

You should re-read the rest of my post, considering the fact that I never mentioned anything about the length of a ranked match queue. If you want to follow up with your signature, then try to stick with the subject rather than adding or twisting it with something that was never to begin with.

Creative criticism is encouraged.

"Did you know that you get 5% less happy every time you lose?" Please tell me how you could even get data for this, given it's something impossible to quantify.

No information is given on how the 'quick research' into 'a third of the users who leave a rating only game' so I'm not going to trust it till you tell me how it was conducted - because I'm assuming you have huge errors in the way you've gathered this data - if you even did.

From my own chat monitoring, many users do ask for codes and and I haven't seen anyone annoy another user by doing so. And I usually spend an hour or more monitoring the chat per day.

Adding ANY other queue WILL reduce ranked queue activity, and RAISE the ranked queue waiting - something already very tedious and off putting for people with high elo.

I just want to say that a Quick Match (separate queue from ranked) would be a lot more helpful. Sure, you can just play with your friends or spam chat asking for a game, but I've tried that, and everyone seems to be VERY VERY reluctant in saying their code in chat... A seperate queue would be very convenient. I'm not saying that this should be top priority at all.

So are you suggesting a queue with 0 elo consideration for pooling players together? Because while that would certainly work, and be quick, it would really hurt the ranked queue.

Maybe if SE gets to like 1000 players online frequently this could be a nice addition.

I don't give out my code, even when i'm asked. Because, spam will be my breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
