I think they're too short to hit them without growth.

Yes they can 2 merics killed a spearton. tested by me and Wyz. they do very small damage.

Same thing happened to me...in a hard way.
I was holdin a Swordwrath when I saw 2 Merics.
Thinking they couldn't deal any damage, I rushed them.
Then my sword died :p
