I have noticed that too, but I also think it'd be good to start with a one week ban, and then go up and up if he doesn't change his behavior

EDIT: On a second pass of the situation, I realize he could have been referring to himself, it's hard to tell the context. At any rate, it is definitely an issue that I see him make this comment and assume he's talking about another member, because I realize that I no longer give him the benefit of the doubt due to the countless times he's been a douche for no reason to other people. All of the other discussion in this thread still stands, and I stand by my decision.

I'm going to take a zero tolerance policy on harassing mods and admins, as well as arguing about disciplinary actions now. I find it completely unacceptable that I feel like I can't enforce the rules for fear of being labelled "butthurt" which is completely ridiculous. If a member is being unruly and abusive, I should have a right to use my powers to prevent it if words aren't effective in conveying the message. Jutsu has been banned for 3 days for constant harassment, and Autistic Biscuit is banned permanently for multiple accounts and ban evasion (chunky).

I'm all for that, but don't do anything without making an announcement first explaining what sort of behavior you're not allowing. Harassment shouldn't be allowed but people shouldn't fear being banned because they want to (constructively) voice their frustration over something we did, and making our intentions clear from the beginning would probably avoid problems later on.

Yeah I've been banning about 10 of those every day for the last few days. It's some relentless Vietnamese spambot.

Agcreed has been permanently banned from the forums for persistent plagiarism, first with this animation and then with this art thread. I gave him a week ban the first time he did it and apparently he didn't get the message. The infraction points hadn't expired yet so he's over the 20 point threshold.

I just want to clarify that I'd have asked for some discussion before permabanning someone straight off, but this was one where his points added up over a number of, what I consider to be, reasonable and proportionate infractions. Within a community centred on creativity I don't think it's acceptable for someone to be stealing work repeatedly.

I am okay with this.

I've banned all IPs that start with 67.142.175. This is because that agcreed kid keeps making new accounts and using a dynamic IP to circumvent bans. Just a heads up that there may be a complaint from someone under that IP, even though it's unlikely that anyone uses it.

Permanently banned by ArchAngel, citing the reason "Perhaps you should have read the rules a bit more carefully. You are no longer welcome on this forum." It's been done via the mod control panel rather than through infraction points so there's not as much detail as there normally would be. I'll ask about it in the Batcave and get back to you.

So, yeah. Looking at his most recent posts he put up a link to a thread called OH SHIT which has since been hard deleted, so I'm sure he was banned with good reason. I'd just like to be able to answer the guy.

Heads up to everyone, I've notified THE RISER through PM that he has no more chances. He has been infracted, warned and banned SO MANY times that even as a foreign child his presence is becoming a burden. Just a heads up that the next infraction he gets will result in the permanent banning of his account.

I'm almost positive it was for pornographic material, because I do believe Index posted in the thread in which case I removed his signature for linking to his website which does contain NSFW material :/

Just got a message from Uko on IRC. he says his account Ukoflex was banned and he would like it unbanned. I didn't do the banning, Arch-Angel did. I was wondering what it was he did and whether or not it would be appropriate to unban him. It looks like he was only infracted like 3 times.

EDIT: wow I just read all the posts above, I completely forgot about them. Try to remember a bit more if you can, but I'll tell him that's why he was banned.

EDIT 2: Also THE RISER is permanently banned for breaking the rules again after I warned him not to. No one unban him without talking to me. Make sure to ban his extra accounts if he makes them.

Nova1Duke is banned permanently from IRC and the forums for posting a link to the pain olympics.

Loki's IP address had 2 other accounts associated with it. Loki's email address for his account is "TheFuzziOne", one of his other accounts is "Fuzzy". The Fuzzy account has the email address "spitfury10", his last account is Spitfury. It seems like they're all connected
