I've banned Pin and Beast210 for 3 days each due to their shitty attitude in an SP-related activity, and Hops for a week for the same reason except 2x worse.

EDIT: Also in case anyone decides they have a problem with this, I think it's entirely reasonable. If someone was being a big enough douchebag on the SP LoL tourneys, I would also expect them to be punished here as well as kicked out of that tourney. Beast210 and related people "didn't care" about the server that I am only running so that people at SP can play together, and decided that they were going to completely disregard any sort of rules and act like giant assholes the entire time. Best210 especially, who broke about half the rules I had set up.

In this situation, I feel that because I'm running it as an activity directed at SP there should be some sort of repurcussion. Because they don't care about being banned on the server (Beast210 said this is why he did what he wanted) I needed to give a punishment that they would care about. I have also added a note to the rules that clarifies that a person may be banned for their actions elsewhere, as their actions elsewhere have a direct effect on whether or not they should be a part of this community. For example if Xero hacked someone's forum, I would likely ban him here because i know he's capable and willing to hack, which isn't someone we want to deal with.

EDIT 2: Talked with Pin who apologized. I lifted his ban. Talked with B210 who lost his shit and made a poor argument. His ban stays. Pin says that Hops wasn't involved and that someone else was using his account, which I find hard to believe because the IP on my server matches Hops' IP.

Seems fair enough.
I don't see what's so hard about admitting to your actions, pin did it, and his punishment was lifted because he was considerate about it ; if you aren't gonna do that, at least put up a decent attempt when contesting.

I agree with an IP ban though; He wanted to leave on his own obligation, so he pulled a sick stunt to get out of here, but wanted to come back to pull more stunts apparently.
Don't get me wrong, duke's a good guy at heart (I personally talk to him outside the forum), but he has a habit of making rather bad decisions that he may later regret.

I laugh because he's an extremely generic internet 14 year old. I spend like 2 seconds going "Oh, right this faggot." And then another 5 banning him all over. Immediately after the 7 seconds I dedicate to him, I forget he exists and continue on with what I was doing. Just a heads up: I unbanned regularshow aka faziri aka faziri2013 after she spoke to me in private about her ban, so don't ban her if you see that she's multi-ing.

I originally permabanned her for Art Theft (courtesy of Xero), multi-accounting/ban evasion (as therobyboys), and in general disregard to the rules like counts of multiple necromancy. After much talking, I was willing to lift her ban because it seems like she's more confused of her situation as a little kid than actually committing these deeds on purpose. I've told her that this unbanning is her very. last. chance. If she decides to majorly screw around, I'll ban her for good.

I'm going to ban XJCLW/The_Stick after today if he doesn't defend himself and/or come clean and apologize. For an in-depth explanation if any of you are interested, you should read the chat thread from today.

To summarize XJCLW has been lying about his age, job, and talents the entire time he's been on the forums. While that's not bannable, multi-accounting is. He admitted association to the Youtube account of Xander Kyron, and an association to The_Stick, and given that The_Stick's email address is KyronXander and he mentions the name Xander Kyron in his RHG description:




As well as the fact that both their IPs are from an Oshawa, ON based ISP on the same block, I think it's safe to assume they're the same.

Temp or perma? He really can lie all he wants as you've stated. Is our policy perma on first multiple account offense?

Hey Jeff, Grimm kinda does have a point. Calling out Hidro's ex-modness was kind of a lowblow, in the sense that it had nothing to do with the argument at hand. I still respect your decision though.

Maybe in retrospect it was a little harsh, but anyone who knows me knows that I fucking hate when people who are supposed to have my back suddenly turn against me like that. I was genuinely offended by his comment, and some of the comments other people were making. People were acting like I was murdering a puppy or something, when I was just fucking doing what an effective moderator should do. I don't think you guys realize how frustrating it is to watch this community slowly die as it turns into a pile of mindless garbage, while the people who should be keeping this place together seem to enjoy jumping at chances to prove each other wrong, allowing actual rule breakers to go unpunished so the mod can save face. It's silly.

Hidro's comment was essentially character assassination in my eyes, and hypocritical to suggest I should take it to PM while he himself has decided to jump on the opportunity to attempt public shaming. I feel if I was truly being unreasonable and his interest was to help me realize it, he should have contacted me privately and calmly. Another big problem I have is how aggressive people seem to get in these situations, which causes others involved to react accordingly. If he wants to try to make me feel bad, I'm going to do the same to him.

Those are fair points Jeff, and I understand where you're coming from. If you feel me and the other guys are doing a shitty job keeping the peace feel free to call us out on it as well.
