First of all, it takes time to cook shit and focus to make sure you ain't wasting your weed.
Second off, the high takes FOOOOORRRREEEVVVEEERRR to kick in. Meaning if your buddies want to toke up they'll be past out before you even get slightly high.

1. you need more weed
2. it can take up to an hour to effect you, rather than seconds when you smoke it. lol smoking weed hurts the environment thats a first

@jutsu: i'd say the waiting and the cooking is worth it given that it's supposedly a really intense high.

2. also true, but once again, it's worth it. and smoking weed is indeed bad for the environment. heck, smoking ANYTHING is bad for the environment. for evertime you smoke, you are damaging the ozone layer. it might not SEVERE damage that occurs all at once, but it is gradual and it is damaging.
3. well if i understand correctly you don't actually have to mix it with brownies or whatever. the thc ingredient (i think that's what it's called) is activated by heat. so just tossing it in the microwave and eating it raw could still make you high i guess.

and yeah i guess saying "eat weed everyday" isn't really catchy lol. it could probably catch on though if more people do it. xD

no nigger, you can't throw a nug of weed in the microwave and then just eat it and get high. the whole point of eatin edibles is to have the thc dissolve into butter (usually). i guess you could make firecrackers in the microwave if you feel like wasting it
personally it aint worth it. i've eaten a ton of edibles and they barely work.

@2-D: oh, well either i've been lied to or i simply misunderstood what i've heard/read (probably the latter :/). and you're right (to an extent), i haven't ever consumed weed so i guess that means i don't have firsthand experience. i acknowledge that completely. however, based on what people have been saying about the high you get from eating weed brownies, i would think that it is fair to say that it is indeed worth it. it doesn't work for you, but for others it seems to work fine.

Some people don't get anything off of edibles.
But I cook that shit in butter and drink it while it's still warm.

Though still, as stated there are a few reasons why it's not the best route to take.
1: As stated before, it takes forever to hit and your friends who want to toke up will be blitzed before you even start.
2: Doesn't work on everyone. I would say it IS worth it to at least try once, some people prefer eating it.
3: The high isn't the same, you may not prefer that kind of high opposed to smoking it up.
4: It takes more weed, I mean, even if you have a lot of weed you still don't want to be wasteful about it.

As for the bit on harming the environment. I don't give a fuck. Wait let me elaborate. I don't give a fraction of a fleeting fuck. I can not be convinced that smoking weed is worse for the environment than all the Suv's, supped up trucks and the wrappers from the terribly shitty food we consume. Let's not even get on this topic, because you wouldn't want a comparison drawn between smoking weed and ranching cattle.
Do you have any idea how much our shitting, mooing cattle do to the environment? People ain't going to stop eating red meat because of it.

im not doubting it works for others, which is why i used the word "PERSONALLY"
and you just get higher because of the amount of weed you digested, which is generally much more than if you just smoked a few bowls

eh, well, i still don't think it should be smoked. vaporizers are a good alternative too.
