IMO, cartoons I like are the classic ones like Tom and Jerry and so on. I just hated it when Oggy and the Cockroaches makes a person looking like a drop dead alien. For me, old cartoons are the best. IMO only, don't take me so seriously.

I personally thinks the two are awesome!
I mean I first started watching Oggy and the cockroaches back when I was 4-6 and then I discovered Tom & Jerry only after.

I love traditional animation. 3d animation is so bad.
(I even made myself a light table...)

Sealab 2021 is a good cartoon. @ Lethal2 - Why do you keep saying cartoons are the same? If all cartoons were the same, there would be no point in having different cartoons.

i remember sealab 2021. i always thought it was really weird and had poor animation.
also,
i completely agree. i'm not too big on 3D animation, but it seems to have dominated the animation industry.
also, might i ask what show/movie your sig is from? it's really awesome.

I'm guessing you only watched it a couple times? It does have kind of an odd sense of humor, but that's what made it so great! They also reused the same animation style from the 1970's cartoon Sealab 2020, which is probably why it seems "poor".

Honestly thoughs old cartoons were the best cartoons. They will never get old in my opinion. But atleast we got something like Adventure time and Regular show.

Quote from 2-Dcartoons were awesome, then they started to suck ass for a while, now they're starting to get good again
Slowly but surely. Even now I can say most cartoon shows I watch are stupid fucking ploys so the company behind them can make a quick buck.

I thoroughly enjoyed older cartoons but at this point, the current "cartoons" to me, don't feel like they ARE cartoons. The old ones just had a sense about them that made them cool. It all feels like Disney now >.>

Disney cartoons were good too, I'm just saying current Disney has lost its touch and gone completely mainstream.

To leave a post in one of the Debate Threads I suppose you have to at least have some knowledge in the area they're talking about, I don't have much knowledge in the evolution of cartoons but I'll give this one a try considering what some people are saying are more uneducated in this subject than I'll ever be so let's go!
As children or young teens we obviously had the one or two cartoons that we liked a lot more that others and you seemed to just ignore all of the other shows but when those shows end or get canceled you start to realize all of the other shows changing as well, you have Disney channel with almost everything aimed towards children. Nickelodeon with their shows aimed towards the somewhat young teenage audience and then you have Cartoon Network which is fun for everyone to watch, heck I still watch half of there shows on a regular basis.
But anyway, all channels have their different aimed-towards audience, so to think Disney Channel would have anything near-bye comparable to Cartoon Network is just plain stupid considering your age. Also when you're older you might find a new show that as a child you would have LOVED to watch but since you're grown up you just couldn't give a rats ass about because it seems childish.
But anyway don't blame the Cartoon's themselves for being terrible. Blame your ability to change how you feel about things as time progresses.
I don't know if any of this is relevant it's just my view on the evolution of cartoons.
