Well, I pretty much type with my left hand on the W, A and D, for the 3 main fingers left pinky on the left shift and left thumb on the space bar.
My right hand however, is normally just hovering on top of the right side of the keyboard, though it it is generally above the J, I or O, P and my right pinky stands between the right shift and the ~ and ^ button, (Keep in mind that I use the Portuguese keyboard layout it's here if you actually want check it out) while my right thumb just chills below the space bar, ready to intervene in the rare occasions where my left thumb isn't available to press space.

I never had typing classes, I ended up taking this style of typing by playing games. I type quickly, though I often make mistakes because my fingers sometimes press the wrong key or they can't keep up with my train of thought :/

Actually it's the other way around bodacious :). My brain is faster than my fingers. Though that happens to me with most things

I peck the shit out of my keyboard using my pointer fingers and according to those who have heard me type over skype I sound like I beat my Keyboard's ass like it owes me money...

How do I type? Well, I type weird, I never fully learned how to type without looking, but I did learn quite a bit, so when I type, I just stare between the monitor and the keyboard, watching both. Sometimes I'll drift into typing without watching the keyboard also, but I usually catch myself and say "How the hell am I doing this?".

How I position my hands is my left on the wasd keys, and my right on the enter button.

EDIT: Pinkie on left shift. Thumb on space bar. :3

Ok, well I just keep my hands on the two sides of my keyboard. Whatever I type I just use whatever finger is closest to that button, but it seems like I have a preference for both of my pointer fingers, but I still use my middle and ring finger quite often. Also I use thumb for space-bar and I always use my right pinky for caps.

I don't look at the keyboard though.

I just press buttons and words come out.

Left hand: a w e f space
Right hand: ; o i h just below space.

Though it doesn't make much sense, this position is way more comfortable for me. Penis.

I just use my middle fingers for all of the letters, and my ring finger for the shift and enter.
