I disliked the new stuff so much I had to give it feedback, I was more formal than others tho.
Things are way too complicated and flustered. Simplicity is the key. And the screen name being replaced with your real name really isn't a good idea either, A LOT of people don't like little things as even there name being presented to the public internet. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration and go into action. Thanks for reading.

Lets hope Google will actually do something about it if they see enough feedback like this.

It has ruined us all.

I'd sell the fucks I don't give for $1.6 billion.

P.S. You failed at converting 1.6 billion into standard form. It would be 1,600,000

Oh wow. Forgot the decimal. Feel dumb for that.

I wonder what's the point of changing entire designs when they only just putted few new features.

How DARE they change their own website's layout!!! Don't they know who I am? I DEMAND they change it back!

Also I'm kind of glad people's real names are starting to be used. Maybe now people will think twice about posting shitty comments and "youtube comments" being slang for childish/immature/terrible comments wont be a thing.

i really hate how off-center it is, leaving an awkward blank space to the right, especially on videos. the actual video is just so far to the upper left that it bugs the fuck out of me, since I want to look at the center of the screen. i don't even care about anything else

I would think that they change their layout to appeal to their members and supporters which is probably why they ask for feedback.

Most people don't put their real names anyways, I don't. It's no longer a pedophile issue like how my parents would tell me. How they said dont put info on the internet because pedophiles will get you. I just don't like putting my birthday or phone number on things. I put my birthday and email. Everything else is usually fake because I don't like my information out there. I doubt anything will change with comments. I think people will continue to put what they always do.

i think the Second Layout was the easiest when it came to profile navigation. I only use youtube for music and funnies, and when I favorite a video, it takes fucking forever to get to my favorite videos from my profile screen, unless I use the upper taskbar.

I don't know why you feel it's necessary to change your font. It just makes it seem like you're trying to be ultra serious. I know that some people will just fake information, that happens with everything, but people who've already created accounts with their real name and have had the site start using their real name are still less likely to mindlessly post insulting drivel on that site because of the reduced anonymity. Just because it's not 100% fool proof doesn't mean it's not a good method for preventing that shit and shouldn't be used, if that's what you're getting at.

When I design new layouts for something, I run tests and get feedback from a lot of people, any inevitably I don't end up pleasing everyone, because frankly people don't fucking know what they want. You have to push the boundaries and try something new, and you only know when you've failed when the backlash is so great that the only option is to revert and/or try again. The problem here isn't really with the layout, it's that no one likes change. I haven't seen many good points in this thread that have nothing to do with getting used to the way the new layout is set up. The only one I agree with wholly right now is that the layout is too much to one side of the screen, but that's arguably just making youtube fit in with the new design scheme google has going on for google+ and shit.

It's okay. Not so fond of having avatars in the comments, but whatever. Wait 2 weeks until everyone gets used to it and then all the complaining will stop.

I hate how that's completely true... But it would help if they listened to the community once in a while or set up a petition.

I think he's trying to be like "ehl" lmaoo. Ehl uses his "signature font" if you will, with the color of his RHG whenever he types. Not really sure if that's what Pin's going for, but that's how I see it

It's not the first time that the layout get like that.

It stays 3 or 4 days like that, then it come back to normal.
