Quick question: Whenever you guys write, do you usually listen to music? You know, to get the gears moving and the buildup of ideas flowing?
I usually go for the Two Steps From Hell Albums, the ones that are at least 1 hour long in youtube. They have no lyrics so it doesn't disrupt my trail of thought and the orchestral music is awesome. You might even recognize some from movies. :D

I guesz it depends... I sometimes do, but I usually listen to K-Pop or watch Anime in the background, to get a feel for some good fights based on the beat.

Nah, it interferes with my visualization because along with my visualization comes background music. Basically I like to play scenes in my head like a movie, which makes it easier to describe.

I think this is my style: Listen to some badass music, then I'll come up with a scene. Then I'll turn the music off and work, with the badass music playing IN MY MIND.

I almost never listen to music when I write, any slight changes
in the song almost always messes with how I picture or feel for something.
But if I do, it's usually instrumental music.

I sometimes listen to music, depends on my mood and things I wanted to write.
If I wanted it to be hard, I listen to rock or pop music.
If I wanted it to be funny, I listen to any kind of music.
It all depends.

Hey Guys!
I'm officially beginning to deisgn a bonifide wRHG Tournament. Nothing is set in stone yet but here's what I'm thinking about:
1) Proper Seeding. Brackets will be balanced in a way that early strong clashes do not happen.
2) Scoring System. Applying my mechanics from the Tennis Match, Polls are just going to be one way to gain points. There will also be Bonus Objectives, CNC Pts (pts given if you give or recieve CNC), and more. We'll see if I can do Achievements, as it's quite daunting for something like this.
3) Exciting Dynamic Rounds. Not every round will be a fight, but a competition in which a fight CAN occur. How you wish to accomplish this will be up to you (such as the Tennis Match, but for 2 people). There will also be special "RP" rounds where the two competitors take turns posting for a limited amount of time/posts. Scoring for these stages will also be variable.
4) Ever-changing Arena. Feel like the usual battleground/forest/desert/volcano is too repetitive? Say no more. Every round will have its own unique but easy to understand terrain as well as hidden events, traps, surprises, and circumstances. Conditions can change as easily as they may not.
5) Loser's Bracket. Felt round one was basically your death knell? No sweat. The loser's bracket is a battle for Honorable Mentions...and a chance to get back at the champion of the winner's bracket. Hoo-hah!
This is an Interest Gauge post. If you are interested and believe you're up for this, reply quoting the line below only and answer the question:
Who is your favorite Cyborg?
I will also need one Optional Judge (I may or may not need him/her). If you're interested, say so in this thread. I will make the Intro thread within the week that at least 6 people have gauged their interest. Finally, if you have any suggestions on what to add, feel free to PM me or post it along with your interest gauge but I won't guarantee I'll use them all.
