Ack...just made a post regarding these changes in the OTHER thread, and didn't realize the discussion had been carried over here.
Well, I'm sure whatever changes that are being created will be an improvement -- after all, you guys (Azzy and Acute) aren't mods for no reason.
I do like Hew's idea, but I don't really see that being useful to the wRHG considering the current status of things.
I mean, Strawman couldn't beat Zalgo, probably not Omega, not Zoe, not The Master, not Zhelan, not Altaer, not Handy, etc. Honestly, there are not a lot of chars used by even some of the most senior members here that could be beat by Strawman. Think about it -- the wRHG functions on a level more or less along the lines of Marvel. Normal-ish grade powers are the exception to the rule.
That's why I said I believe that there is a certain level/kind of OPness that is tolerable because in a realm where there are plenty of well-designed OP chars, it's not a kill-all. The problem comes when a char cannot be reasoned to "lose" to anyone (just because the design of other chars might make it possible to find loopholes to exploit or just exploit pocket-dimensions of hands is not what I'm referring to here).
