I don't "cut". Have I ever tried cutting myself to see how painful it would be or how sharp the knife is? Yes, plenty of times. I have three cuts on my hands that are healing now. I don't do it as an outlet to bar my mind from depressing thoughts to focus more on the pain. I have a lot of issues, and a cross would symbolize a lot in my life. Considering that I disagree with tattoos, I believe it would mean so much more to leave a permanent mark myself rather than have someone else do it. It's my life, and my body, the way I see it it would be stupid to have it any other way.
