Yes, TF2 is F2P, but you can pay to play as well and get a lot of benefits.

The game actually requires teamwork though, not like COD where you just go around and shoot anyone you see. There is no Deathmatch, there is Capture the Flag, Capture/Defend, and others. One mode is called Payload where the Blue team has to push a cart to the end of the track while Red team defends for a certain amount of time. All teamwork there.

Nice to see we have TF2 players here :P. I do die a little inside (figuratively) when I see 2 snipers with SMG's run head first into the battle.
Unrelated, should the mana, gold or population price of Shadowrath go down? Maybe it's b/c of my rank, but frankly I do not see them at all. Can any pro-shadowrath players their uses besides doing high burst damage to giants/magikill? To my knowledge their incredible speed and hit-and-run tactics are all they have going for them.
