Sounds like an interesting idea. Maybe this loss of a rating occurs to players over 2k rating(just a suggestion for players in the top 100 who stopped playing). The rating keeps decreasing week after week until the player recently played a match or the rating is at 2k.

mostly im talking about ppl who have stop playing or alts that aren't being used anymore for I know one alt was up there for almost a year^^ before finally dropping out of the top 100^^ not to mention all the other they are probably not used^^and point decay rate O.o I don't know^^maybe^^
