Alright! Just... um...
Actually copying somebody's strategy doesn't work, because there's many variables to any strategy. For example, if you see your opponent is turtling, then you get Archidon behind Spearton, etc. But if he's massing Giants, and you still do that... well you know the answer.
Make up your own strategy. Put parts to it. Start with 1 miner/2 Swords, 2 miners/1 Sword, etc. If you're not good at kiting, I don't recommend the Archidon.

Agreed, except for the Archidon part. If you're not good at kiting, learn to be good at kiting. It is too vital a skill to not have.

I suck at kiting. I just can't do it. I press Defend/Attack to kite, not sure how well that works against Swords. I never open with an Archidon, and I lost 19 games consecutively on my Alternative account (not the actual username) while using Archidon start. I was pretty good at Giant Massing, but they added a bunch of updates so it doesn't work anymore...

Defend/Attack? You mean, the buttons on the middle of the bottom of the screen?

Yes.

Oh. Well of course you can't kite that way!
Here's how you're supposed to kite:
1. Select your archer using left click
2. Use right click to make your archer retreat away from the attacking unit
3. When you see that the archer is done reloading, press "S" (the Stand command). The archer will stop moving and fire it's just loaded arrow.
4. Use right click again to continue your retreat, and repeat this process.
